Last week Navantia Australia was proud to sign the Destroyer Enterprise Charter alongside our partners at Defence Australia, Lockheed Martin Australia, Saab Australia, BAE Systems Australia, Raytheon Australia, and Thales Australia. As the design authority for the Royal Australian Navy’s Hobart Class Destroyers, Navantia Australia supports these vessels through life to ensure that Australia remains secure and protected from threats. The Hobart Class Destroyers provide advanced, layered, defensive and offensive capabilities to counteract conventional and asymmetrical threats. In uncertain geopolitical times, we rely on our navy to contribute to maintaining regional security and to protect Australia’s national interests. We have developed a significant local capability responsible for maintenance of the design configuration and integrity, and alongside our partners on the Destroyer Enterprise Charter we are committing to enhancing the Royal Australian Navy’s long-term defensive capability. #defenceindustry #yourADF #sovereigncapability #hobartclassdestroyers
