The Philippine Financial & Inter-Industry Pride (PFIP) is a collaborative, voluntary, and non-profit community of practice composed of dedicated representatives from LGBT+ employee resource groups and human resource or diversity teams of private firms in the Philippines. As the leading voice and champion of LGBT+ workplace inclusion in the Philippines, PFIP promotes safe spaces and inclusive opportunities for all talents regardless of their SOGIESC. We started with five companies from the banking and financial industry in October 2013 and now have over 80 members from across multiple industries. Board Advisor Chris Eugenio joined featured speakers from the PBCWE (Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment) and the National Council on Disability Affairs in a wide-ranging discussion on business practices that support the overall wellbeing of female employees, promote deliberate inclusion of diverse talents, and provide greater accessibility for persons with disabilities. #PFIPxGCash #PFIPWorkplaceInclusion

  • The Rainbow Youth Academy is OPEN! We are looking for a new cohort of rainbow scholars across the Philippines. Our Rainbow Youth Academy scholars will have access to financial aid, near-hire training from PFIP senior subject matter experts, coaching and mentoring from senior LGBTQ+ executives, and internship opportunities within PFIP and/or its member companies. They will also participate in PFIP flagship events, including the Rainbow Youth Academy Bootcamp. Eligibility: • Currently enrolled and preferably a graduating student in any university or college in the Philippines • Self-identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community • Satisfactory academic record For Consideration: • Proven track record of student leadership and community involvement • Works for the betterment of the LGBTQ+ community • Must be able to demonstrate need for financial support Requirements: • CV with photo (please indicate lived name and pronouns) • Proof of enrollment in the current school year • Transcript/Report Card/Class Cards (to show satisfactory grades) • Financial needs assessment (form to be provided by PFIP) • Application essay • Letter of recommendation Qualified students may submit their application and credentials via https://lnkd.in/gZE-wQ7A by August 31, 2024.   • PFIP is proud to announce that the nominations for the 3rd Philippine Bahaghari Awards are now OPEN! PFIP’s Bahaghari Awards recognizes the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations that are leading the charge in promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belongingness in the workplace. Their examples set the standard and serve as inspiration for the corporate pride community. The Philippine Bahaghari Awards is open to companies and organizations that are duly registered and are operating legally in the Philippines. The Awards is open to companies and organizations of all sizes, from all industries, and whether member or non-member of PFIP. Nominations may be sent from August 19 to September 6, 2024 via this form: https://lnkd.in/gr3Zj-dE. There are no fees for sending nominations. The Awards will be presented at PFIP’s 11th Anniversary Gala on October 25 at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-La the Fort.
