"How does change happen? I think it has a lot to do with the ta’aluq (relationship) you build with the community. I’ve been doing this for over 18 years, Alhamdulillah, starting as a teacher and then becoming a principal. The longer you stay, the more people trust you. When I first started, girls were hardly going to school. If they did, most would drop out by middle school. But now, things have changed dramatically. The elders of the community are on board. They see the difference, and they believe in it. 🌟 From a Dream to a Mission: My TCF Journey 🌟 In 2006, I stepped into a TCF school as a student, full of hope but facing financial challenges. With TCF’s incredible support — a fee of just Rs. 50 until matriculation — I managed to navigate my education with ease and focus. By 2021, I completed my intermediate from TCF College, and today, I’m even prouder to contribute to TCF’s mission as a Senior Data Management Officer at The Citizens Foundation. But the journey doesn’t end here. I’m pursuing my education and currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science — fueled by the values and skills I learned at TCF. Working for the organization that shaped my life is a dream come true. The immense support TCF has provided in my academic and professional growth inspires me to give back every day. The journey was not always easy. There were challenges — moments where doubt could have overshadowed dreams. But the unwavering support of my teachers, the nurturing environment at TCF, and the belief instilled in me to aim higher kept me going.
