Today we share a truly exceptional project we've been eagerly anticipaiting sharing with you. For Henning Larsen and CERN, we created the winning visualizations for the research center B777 located on the French-Swiss border. The structure embodies circularity not only through its eco-friendly design solutions but also through its architectural expression. Nestled within the forest, the rotunda constructed from wood and glass provides connection with nature and becoming a unique scientific facility.

The Helguvík-Bergvík Framework Plan is an ambitious concept aimed at transforming industrial areas in Iceland, designed by KCAP. This new production and energy hub is strategically located near Keflavik Airport, creating opportunities to boost the region’s competitiveness on a global scale. From a technical standpoint, this was a challenging project where we heavily relied on AI tools. With only a volume model and no aerial photos, we generated many of the details with Magnific and other tools. Take a look and judge the results for yourself!

How do you design a skyscraper that seamlessly integrates into the Haarlem skyline? This was the challenge faced by the architects at Arons en Gelauff Architecten when they created a 56-meter tower along the Spaarne waterfront for AM Gebiedsontwikkeling. The local zoning regulations permitted a tall structure, but only if it respected the surrounding architectural context. In response, the designers introduced a sculptural form, using dynamic diagonal lines to break up the mass and give the building an elegant, slender silhouette.

Now that our office is back in full swing after the recent flood situation, we're excited to share our latest international competition visualization for Karres en Brands and ADEPT! The concept involves transforming the district adjacent to Volkspark into a dynamic hub for education and community activities. The area will offer a wide range of public services, including universities and schools, along with informal spaces dedicated to various age groups.

Some of our followers may have heard about the catastrophic floods sweeping through our region. For the past few days, we’ve been standing in solidarity with the victims of the flooded towns. Today, the flood surge has reached Wrocław, and unfortunately, our location by the levee - which usually adds to its charm - has become our curse. We worked hard and managed to stay operational. We've been working from home for several days now, in a limited capacity, due to a lack of access to our servers. Today, the water has started flooding the lower floor of our building and has submerged the beach bar. Thankfully, we managed to evacuate most of the valuable equipment in advance. We’d like to thank everyone for the kind words of support and offers of assistance, and we apologize to our partners in advance for any potential delays in project deliveries. According to forecasts, the water should begin to recede over the weekend, and if the local power grid remains unaffected, we hope to return to the office after Sunday. We also encourage everyone to support charitable initiatives for those affected by the flood: https://lnkd.in/dG473mYx

As we brace for a weekend of record rainfall, we took inspiration from the weather outside to create something for fun! Using our still image of Kevin Schorn's wooden holiday cabins, we crafted a quick cinemagraph with only animated cutouts and some AE post-production. We’d love to hear your thoughts!

A very satisfying and rewarding win, especially given how complex and challenging the project was! Thank you Henning Larsen Ramboll Gehl - Making Cities for People Read more about how Henning Larsen will transform the streets of Singapore: https://lnkd.in/eckbJ8Am
We have been awarded the master plan consultancy to design Singapore's 21.5km North-South Corridor’s surface streets! The design for this unprecedented urban transformation envisions seamless integration of public transport, active mobility, community-focused spaces, and greenery. Together with Ramboll, Cistri, Gehl - Making Cities for People, Participate in Design, and Camphora Pte. Ltd., the corridor will be co-designed with local communities and stakeholders. “We are delighted to partner with LTA to create a new common corridor that not only connects people physically but also strengthens the social fabric of our city.” said Leonard Ng, Country Market Director, Singapore. Last week, we proudly received the news that our client, Henning Larsen, won the closed competition for the European School in Paris! We are especially proud, knowing the long and multi-stage process that led to this success. The campus, designed for students of various ages, covers a total area of 19,000 m². It reflects a multilingual and multicultural approach, emphasizing the European values. Designed for Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France by Henning Larsen, archi5, and BASELAND in the renowned La Défense area.

At Vivid Vision, we love projects with the potential to showcase human activities, nature, and lively communities. Architecture itself can be a backdrop, a placeholder, against which storytelling unfolds. One such project was the urban development in Kreuzfeld designed by Karres en Brands, where we had the opportunity to create a set of vibrant visualizations featuring diverse atmospheres and weather conditions.
