As a fully remote company, it was brilliant to get CI Games's UK HR and TA team together in-person this week, after I joined as CPO early this year. With team members in Scotland and the South, the most logical destination to bring us all together was the fabulous city of Liverpool, where my career started in the games industry! After a busy day in Bold Street Coffee's meeting room, discussing the value HR can add to our business as a strategic partner and value creator, we had dinner at Albert's Schloss. Today sees the launch of 'Version 1.5 - Master of Fate', a free update for all owners of our dark fantasy action-RPG, Lords of the Fallen. ‘Master of Fate’ is the culmination of over 30 updates since launch, resulting in significant improvements to performance, stability and optimisation, alongside rigorous difficulty balancing in response to user feedback. The update also delivers the final milestone of the game’s extensive post-launch roadmap: the Advanced Game Modifier System.
