𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥: ✅ 99 fast-charging parks ➡️ fast charging stations every 10 minutes on the main traffic axes ✅ 9,000 charging points ✅ 1,000 locations ✅ Completion by 2026 ⚡ The newest charging park - Hamwiede Nord in Lower Saxony- is equipped with state-of-the-art 400 kW charging technology. Even at full capacity, each station delivers 200 kW. 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭💡𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲: 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝? 🛣️☀️ Drees & Sommer Expert Team explored this question recently in German state of North Rhine-Westphalia on behalf of the Zweckverband Landfolge Garzweiler in collaboration with the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy and the Cologne University of Applied Sciences. Together, we developed a groundbreaking feasibility study for a solar highway in the Garzweiler mining area along the A44n and A46 highways to generate renewable energy. The feasibility study included the technical, legal, and economic evaluation of integrating photovoltaics on noise barriers, windbreaks, embankments, and slopes. The areas are located on both sides along a 15-kilometer stretch of highway. They offer great potential to create synergies for sustainable infrastructure. ✅ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: High scalability across the entire highway network 🛣️! With the feasibility study, the development steps are clear, and the path for the implementation phase is paved – furthermore, an expansion of the project to the entire Germany is possible. The solar highway is part of the larger Renewable Energy Innovation Park, which aims to create an integrated energy system that includes the generation, storage, and use of renewable energy. The concept includes not only the solar highway but also projects like the Green Energy Hub and an inter-municipal energy concept for the region. In Poland, nearly 30% of real estate workers already use AI, with 38% of them utilizing it daily. Additionally, 43% of respondents confirmed they use other digital tools alongside AI. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝? ✔️ Document management software (16%) ✔️ Cloud computing (10%) ✔️ Project management software, and business intelligence tools (9%) In Hungary, cloud computing is stronger, nearly 30% of workers use it, while in the Czech Republic, the Internet of Things is increasingly significant (10%).   “With the rise of AI, it is even more evident that the magic happens at the intersection of different technologies.
