👏 The news I've been waiting for: Endeavor is launching in Ukraine, with Poland playing a crucial role in the process. It has been a long time coming, an effort that began in 2020. I’m excited to see Sviatoslav Sviatnenko take on the role of Managing Director—good luck! Many of them are based now here, in Poland. - Despite the fact that it’s a country at war, Ukraine’s tech sector continues to grow at 5%+. - Before the war, Ukraine had already produced 8 unicorns, including Grammarly, GitLab, and People.ai—and the ecosystem was on track for even more. Endeavor is now officially in Ukraine!! 🇺🇦 It’s been long in the making, but today is the day we make it official. 🎉 Why is this launch important? Because the thriving entrepreneurial community in Ukraine needs our support now. Many of the founders have temporarily relocated to the US, UK, Canada, Poland, Portugal and Spain, where we’ve been able to serve them through our existing offices, but having an office sourcing and supporting entrepreneurs out of Ukraine and linking Ukrainian entrepreneurs back home is core. Why is supporting entrepreneurial talent in Ukraine important? Because the quality of the Ukranian tech talent is undeniable. Did you know that much of the tech you are using today has Ukranian roots? From Jan K. inventing WhatsApp to Max Levchin co-founding PayPal and now Affirm, or Max Lytvyn launching Grammarly. The list does go on, but the names above are global references in their space. Leading the charge will be our founding Managing Director, Sviatoslav Sviatnenko, who has been actively involved in the Ukranian entrepreneurial ecosystem for the last decade, and has been eagerly helping make the dream of launching a reality. 🙏 Welcome Endeavor Ukraine to the Endeavor network and welcome Sviat to what promises to be a fascinating journey. CEO ICEYE, Rafal Modrzewski, otrzymał Nagrodę Gospodarczą 14 Kongresu Małych i Średnich Przedsiębiorstw w Katowicach. W uzasadnieniu zaznaczono, że nagroda „jest wyrazem wdzięczności i uznania za wielotorowe działania i osiągnięcia, stanowiące inspirację oraz motywację dla wielu przedsiębiorców.” Po odebraniu nagrody Rafal podkreślił, że ma ona dla niego wyjątkowe znaczenie, ponieważ odbiera ją w Katowicach, swoim rodzinnym mieście.
