Société Générale Global Solution Center Poland is a new, growing area of the SG Warsaw Branch, and we are currently looking for an Exotic Trading Support Associate.

Working within the Global Business Technology & Operations/Fixed Income & Currencies (GBTO/FIC) department, the Exotic Trading Support Associate is responsible for overseeing worldwide exotic products, including recording transactions in the information systems, managing the transaction lifecycle, and acting as the first level of control after the Front Office, as well as managing projects connected with the exotic transactions.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Modelling vanilla and exotic transactions and traded events in the information system
• Checking the quality and completeness of the information entered
• Analyzing and regulating reported discrepancies
• Coordinating processing of requests and problem resolution between Front Office and all support functions (e.g., Middle-Office Control, Back-Office, Risk Department, Finance Department)
• Monitoring the life cycle of operations and cross-functional issues
• Aiding the management with day-to-day production
• Leading and participating in the department's cross-functional projects and tasks (e.g., team process automation and convergence projects, production of risk and performance indicators, impact analysis for the development of new activities etc.)

Profile required

Studies & experience:

• 5+ years of experience in the finance market, preferably in the trading division
• Technical and functional understanding of vanilla and exotic products
• Knowledge of front-to-back operational procedures
  
  

Language skills:

• Fluency in English
  
  

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office Excel
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with multiple teams
• Teamwork mindset
• Proactivity and taking ownership of projects
