We had the pleasure of participating as guests at an event organized by ERSE - where the regulatory context of Energy Sharing Projects in Portugal, including our project at the Clube de Futebol Os Belenenses stadium, was presented and discussed. This initiative featured insights from Greenvolt Group's Director of Regulatory Affairs, Sofia Pinto Barbosa, and the CEO of Greenvolt Comunidades, José Queirós de Almeida, DBA, who spoke about the current state of legislation and regulation on Energy Sharing in Portugal, as well as the benefits of Greenvolt’s business model, which delivers clean, affordable energy for everyone. The event brought together international representatives from various energy regulatory associations across Europe and the Mediterranean, who visited the Clube de Futebol Os Belenenses stadium to experience this good example of a Greenvolt Energy Community,  where 25% of the energy surplus is shared with local families and businesses, while the remaining 75% of the surplus is directed to the Champalimaud Foundation Clinical Center, a medical, scientific, and technological institution with cutting-edge capabilities. #EnergyCommunities #Greenvolt #EnergyTransition #Sustainability

Today, at ISCTE Business School, #PlugIntoKnowledge | The First Step to the Energy Transition continued with an engaging #Talk featuring João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group, Catarina Barreiros, Founder & CEO of Do Zero, and Catarina Roseta Palma, Associate Professor at ISCTE, moderated by Clementina Barroso, Professor at ISCTE. The session sparked lively discussions, broadening students' understanding of the role of renewable energy in the energy transition, as well as the growing influence of conscious consumers and emerging leaders in driving sustainable change. Speaking to an audience of future business leaders, the Talk also underscored how renewables and ESG factors are becoming central to business strategies, opening a wide array of opportunities for companies. Greenvolt Group took part in Energy Days 2024 in #Poland, engaging in discussions on the future of energy. Jan Kloczko, Deputy Commercial Director (Europe) of Greenvolt Power, participated in the panel "Energy Storage Facilities: The System, Market, and Transformation," addressing how energy #storage enhances self-consumption and the market outlook for Poland. Meanwhile, Carlos Miguel Kruszewski Pinto, representing Greenvolt Next , joined the panel on "Industry, Energy, and Investments: #PPA and the Green Energy Market," emphasizing the role of PPAs in driving Poland’s decarbonization and renewable energy growth. The event underscored the vital role of renewables in the energy transition, explored technological innovations, and addressed regulatory and financial challenges - crucial discussions in this key market for us, with significant growth potential.

Over the past two days, we brought together some of Greenvolt Group's top management leaders at Nova School of Business and Economics, in Lisbon, to discuss the critical role of #leadership in building a strong, aligned, and collaborative organization across all areas and business segments. As we move forward, this alignment empowers us to continue executing our business plan and achieving the ambitious goals we have set for the Group’s future.

The Greenvolt Group concluded the first half of 2024 with revenues of €188.0 million, representing a 42% year-on-year increase. EBITDA reached €26.5 million, with the overall net profit attributable to Greenvolt of €-19.0 million.  These results reflect the Group's ongoing investment phase, with nearly 800 MW of assets currently under construction and distributed generation operations being launched across six countries, aligned with the expectations and planned trajectory.  “These results, which include a non-recurring negative impact, will certainly present substantial growth by the end of the year, anticipating an improvement in the comparison between 2024 and 2023”, says João Manso Neto, CEO of the Greenvolt Group. In the first half of 2024, the #UtilityScale pipeline grew by 904 MW compared to the end of 2023, reaching a total of 9.3 GW, with 3.6 GW at the Ready-to-Build stage. In the #SustainableBiomass segment, the Group agreed to acquire a power plant in the UK from Kent Renewable Energy Ltd. Additionally, the #DistributedGeneration backlog (signed contracts) grew by 88%, reaching 311.4 MW, with installations increasing by 52% compared to 1H23, totaling 42.5 MWp.
