Last week, Greenvolt Group took part in MIPIM, the world’s leading #realestate event, held in Cannes, France, to showcase how our solutions can impact the sector and accelerate its #energytransition.   During this four-day event, we had the opportunity to present a selection of projects currently being developed in the sector and demonstrate how real estate companies can adopt decentralized tailor-made solutions for self-consumption and energy-sharing, to optimise efficiency and drive #sustainability.   #GreenvoltGroup remains committed to deliver the best energy solutions to businesses, supporting them in accelerating their decarbornization efforts and embracing more sustainable practices.

Greenvolt Group took part in Mercer’s event on #PayTransparency in Organizations, represented by Greenvolt Group Global People Director, Mariana Ortiz Gala, as a speaker.   The event brought together professionals from different sectors to discuss equity and pay parity – key pillars for building trust, fostering fairer #workplaces, and attracting top talent.   Reflecting on the challenges of implementing pay transparency across different markets, Mariana highlights: " As an international group, Greenvolt approaches salary transparency with the utmost diligence, ensuring alignment with diverse cultural contexts and local market best practices. Greenvolt Group launches its first #EnergyCommunity with #battery storage🔋, a pioneering project that highlights the flexibility of our collective self-consumption model. Developed and already implemented by Greenvolt Comunidades, this project integrates a storage system with solar generation, maximizing the use of installed capacity and further enhancing the benefits of an integrated energy-sharing model.  The solution at a glance: ✅ Ascendi, a company specializing in road infrastructure and toll management, already had a solar production unit, which was expanded to increase photovoltaic generation. ✅ Part of the energy is used for self-consumption at its operational center, while the rest is shared across more than 10 locations along its concessioned highways. ✅ Surplus energy can now be stored in a battery for use during periods of lower or no solar production. Congratulations to everyone involved in this milestone project – one of 160 energy communities developed by the Group in Portugal, 45 of which are already fully operational.

Our pan-European platform in the #DistributedGeneration segment continues to grow, taking another important step forward with the official launch of Greenvolt Next #Italia – unveiled today at the KEY - The Energy Transition Expo, in Rimini. Formerly known as Solarelit powered by Greenvolt, the company builds on over 20 years of expertise in the Italian market while strengthening its ability to deliver innovative, tailored solutions that help businesses accelerate their #decarbonization journey. "The launch of Greenvolt Next Italia represents a planned and natural transition that reinforces our commitment to the Italian market, particularly in the DG segment, where we entered in 2023 and have since built a strong presence”, says João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group. Led by Greenvolt Power, the agreement with BYD Energy Storage covers the design and operation of two assets in #Poland, with a combined capacity of up to 1.6 GWh (400 MW), marking the Group’s largest energy storage contracts in Europe. Already under construction and set for completion in Q1 2026, these projects will play a key role in maximizing renewable energy integration, while also driving the long-term feasibility and profitability of our investments. 🔋 With a 2.6 GW BESS pipeline, we are further strengthening our position as one of the world’s top developers of #battery energy storage solutions.

We are proud to announce that Greenvolt Group has been recognised in the 2nd edition of the Caixa ESG Awards, in the "Environmental Transparency and Performance" category. This award, presented by Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), highlights companies that voluntarily disclose their carbon emissions, based on the 2024 Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) rating. "Being recognised by such a key financial institution in the Iberian market as CGD is something we truly value. Through Energy Partners GmbH, Greenvolt Group will implement 10 rooftop photovoltaic projects across #Germany, totaling 23 MWp, for GLP Europe – a leading global business builder, owner, developer, and operator of logistics real estate, digital infrastructure, renewable energy, and related technologies. Structured under Power Purchase Agreements (#PPA) with no investment required from GLP, the projects will be installed on the rooftops of multiple logistics centers in Germany. The first, a 3.8 MWp system in Mönchengladbach, is set for completion still in February 2025. “We are seeing a growing demand for decentralized self-consumption energy solutions, particularly from multinational companies that trust Greenvolt for our ability to deliver integrated solutions efficiently, backed by our experience in diverse markets,” says João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group. Greenvolt Group is expanding its #DistributedGeneration footprint in Germany, and this collaboration with GLP Clean Energy is a strategic step toward a more sustainable and efficient energy supply in the #logistics sector, where decentralized generation solutions are particularly effective.
