N9VEs purpose is to use knowledge to protect our planet. Do more, much more! Producing novel green technologies to be applied in industries will foresee a sustainable world. N9VE has a binding partnership with Universidade de Aveiro (UA). Together we have developed a simple, low-cost and environmentally friendly procedure to remove, concentrate and recover Rare Earth Elements (REE), by using live saline macroalgae. This is a greener and more efficient alternative to the current mining extraction process. The company aims to operate at an industrial scale to address the rapidly increasing demand for REEs and boost low-carbon technologies development. All this while acknowledging the current pollution and supply-chain issues related to REE attainment. By recycling electronic waste, a real solution is presented to progress towards an energy-efficient, green and sustainable future. N9VE is the answer to a renewable and efficient high scale supply of REE to address a rapidly growing market while maintaining nature’s balance. Our innovative approach generated a lot of excitement and interest from attendees. We had numerous productive conversations and discussions about the future of sustainable wind energy with industry leaders, potential partners, and fellow innovators. We are very pleased to have received the visit of Thomas Beckmann, representative of ENERCON, a German company, leader in the manufacture of #WindTurbines. This visit was part of a meeting of a European consortium led by the company n9ve - Nature, Ocean and Value, which allowed us to address new and exciting perspectives for the future of #CleanEnergy. We discussed strategies to boost the wind industry, especially solutions for recovering #neodymium magnets from turbines. This project is a big step towards a more sustainable and greener world, and we are thrilled to be part of it.
