Carregamento flexível de VE em Condomínios: Um passo rumo ao Futuro! 🚗 A E-REDES lançou um 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 que promete transformar o carregamento de veículos elétricos em garagens comuns, eliminando a necessidade de obras no ramal ou aumento de potência. Através de uma gestão dinâmica e inteligente da potência disponível no edifício, esta solução permite carregar mais veículos, de forma mais rápida e com menor custo. No Smart Energy LAB, temos orgulho de ser uma das quatro 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘀 que integram este projeto, ao lado da KLC, EDP Comercial e EVIO - Electrical Mobility. A heartfelt thank you to Carlos Henggeler Antunes, Goncalo Saraiva, Pedro Carvalho, Pedro Pombo, Rui Assis and Sofia Tavares, for your invaluable input in shaping our roadmap for the future. In the new year, we will enhance the performance of our 𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 with new digital energy services powered by advanced algorithms. For EDGE, we’re introducing a sophisticated load-balancing and power distribution system to maximize EV charging efficiency in shared garages. For REEF, we will improve the management of flexible assets, such as EV chargers and solar batteries, using algorithms designed for energy arbitrage and solar surplus optimization. In paralel we will operationalise our proprietary 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱-𝗘𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 to accelerate these developments with its scalable, modular design. 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗨: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 🚗 Smart Energy LAB was honored to participate in and co-organize the Conference 𝘋𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘌𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘜: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘔𝘰𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, which took place at Instituto Superior Técnico as part of the EV4EU project. This event brought together partners and industry leaders to discuss the crucial role of electric mobility in the EU's energy transition. João Torres from Smart Energy LAB moderated the session “𝗩𝟮𝗫 – 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀”, which explored how EV’s, through V2X (vehicle-to-everything), can significantly promote renewable energy use, balance grid demand, and support a more sustainable energy ecosystem. The session also highlighted EDGE’s contribution in the EV4EU demonstrator on São Miguel, Azores, which tests V2X strategies that facilitate electric vehicle charging in homes, buildings and companies. 𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗩 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, that is compatible with any charger or plug, it offers dynamic load balancing, real-time monitoring, and smart features for new and existing infrastructures, empowering operators to optimizing costs and infrastructure. The session featured insightful presentations by Hugo Morais (INESC-ID), Bruno Vieira (EDA), and Luis Prazeres (Grupo Brisa), as well as valuable contributions to the roundtable discussion from João Almeida (Coopérnico), João Abril de Abreu (EDP), and Nuno Delgado (Efacec). 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗘𝗩𝟰𝗘𝗨 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 🔋 On January 14, we attended the EV4EU project’s 6th General Assembly in Lisbon, organized by INESC-ID, Instituto Superior Técnico, EDP NEW, and Smart Energy LAB. Smart Energy LAB, represented by Catarina Nogueira, presented findings on “𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘝2𝘟: 𝘉𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘋𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯”, highlighting 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗩𝟮𝗫 𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴.
