🔝 Really productive debate yesterday during the second edition of our 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝑹𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 with authorities, investors, consultants and local community!
✔️ “The real challenge for Timisoara is to attract another 50,000 – 100,000 residents in the following ten years” – Ruben Latcau, Deputy Mayor of Timisoara said during the event.
✔️ "This year we consolidated a specialized medical hub, unique at the national level, in the office area. ✔️ Timisoara gathered a lot of attention as the 2023 European Capital of Culture and authorities are working to consolidate the enthusiasm generated in 2023 with initiatives such as applying for 2028 European Gastronomic Region but also significant investments in infrastructure.
✔️ A9, the new motorway from Timisoara to Moravita connecting Romania with Serbia, a new stadium, regional hospital and green campus represent major public investments contributing to the attractiveness of the city.
✔️ The strong economy in Timis not only kept the unemployment rate under 1% but also generated an average net wage of c.a. 1,200 EUR – the second biggest in the country, after Bucharest.
