We welcome CMA CGM NAVEGANTES to Jubail Commercial Port (JCP) as part of a new fortnightly LMX service. This addition of the Levant Middle East Express (LMX) service from 27 September will further enhance JCP’s connectivity and competitive edge. The LMX service will link JCP with Iskenderun and Mersin in Türkiye, Jebel Ali in the UAE, and Beirut in Lebanon. Driven by investments in oil & gas, infrastructure and construction projects, steel consumption is soaring across Saudi Arabia. The Jubail Container Port (JCP) is a crucial hub for petrochemical and energy-intensive industries in the eastern region. So far in 2024, JCP has handled 11,000 steel pipes and 800 large construction supporting units which in total converts to 70,000 tonnes of cargo handled. First vessels calling our terminal in KSA with over 700 vehicles discharged in just 3 hours.   Jubail Commercial Port, operated by Gulftainer’s subsidiary, GSCCO - Gulf Stevedoring Contracting Co., received first vessels from HOEGH Line and MOL ACE Line. Our experienced team successfully discharged over 700 vehicles from HOEGH KOBE and PRIME ACE vessels in record time.   This marks a significant development in our roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) business, reinforcing Jubail Commercial Port’s vital position in serving the fast-growing market in Saudi Arabia, as well as the international supply chain network that connects markets in the Upper Gulf, the Indian Subcontinent and East Africa.   #Gulftainer #JubailContainerTerminal #ShippingLines #KSA

We welcomed the vessel Maersk Felixstowe, operating under the ME8 service of Maersk Line, Limited, at #Jubail Container Terminal. This cellular container vessel, with a GRT of 57,907 tonnes and a capacity of 3,995 TEU, berthed at our terminal, showcasing the exceptional operational capabilities of Jubail terminal. Our General Manager – Shipping Lines, Zina S, and General Manager – Operations in #SaudiArabia, Anas Almuhaisen, along with their dedicated Gulftainer and GSCCO - Gulf Stevedoring Contracting Co.’s teams, were on-site to oversee the operations. After successful handling operation at our terminal, the vessel sailed to the Upper Gulf to continue its rotation.
