#MusicTech is a fast growing industry, and its a great honour and privilege to be a member of the jury at this upcoming event organised by STHLM Music City and #NordicMusicTech in partnership with Google HQ in Stockholm this coming Thursday 26 September. Thank you Musik Hallandia Emelie Gunnarsson and team for inviting me and Arts Dynamics to do a keynote about the future of the music industry at Teater Halland in Varberg last night 🤩 It was wonderful to see such a big turnout, with a great panel and local band, Bondesson Trio, performing for this, the first - of hopefully many - Music Meetups in the Halland region. Our MC Rebecca Sellergren did a stellar job moderating the sessions and it was very interesting to learn more about Ceder, Jazz i Halmstad and Studio Folkhemmet during their panel discussion. If I was to summarise my talk it would be to follow your heart, be open to new technology and to monetising your work but always stay true to the music. Let the music guide you and have faith that all will be well as long as you hold the space for magic to happens. Last night was one of those moments, and I will cherish each and every conversation we had during the evening for a long time to come. Day three 🔛 Hot DANG what a 🔥🔥🔥 weekend at Epicenter Stockholm with the Global #XRHack by Meta Vinnova and partners under the expert leadership of Captain Albert Bengtson and team. I am so proud of the members of the Arts Dynamics Meetup Community who met at our last Meetup, decided to step outside their comfort zone, partner up and join the Hackathon. We even had our very own composer Gustaf Blix who created music for his hacker team. Well done Gustaf, it sounded great! It was a great honour to be both on the panel on Friday and in the jury today to vote for the winners in the different categories. More on that in a separate post. For now, just want to say HUGE congrats to all the Hackers for joining and submitting your work. And it's been a blast to get to know so many brilliant people from so many different fields within creativity, #XR #AI #AR #gaming and impact from Sweden and abroad. We´ll continue the conversations at our next Arts Dynamics Entrepreneur Meetup on the 3 October at Epicenter Stockholm with a focus on how the cultural and creative industries can embrace XR and AI in their work with inspiring examples from this Hackathon. Day two of Global Meta Vinnova #XRHack at Epicenter Stockholm has come to an end after an intensive day for all the hacker and participants. It is incredibly exciting to start to see all the amazing creations unfold from all the hacker stations. There are also exhibitors present, and I got a chance to visit a virtual classroom via ARlicious where we went into space to explore the planets in a fun and interactive way. So - what are the key takeaways for us in the cultural and creative industries? What kind of opportunities could open up as a result? Today we see music education and humaniora being cut down due to lack of funding and resources. In the virtual, immersive world however there are no limits to what can be done to include music, arts and culture in the school environment for the children, and that in new and unexpected formats compared to the physical world. The subjects that are being taught can come alive, the kids are able to speak to main characters from the history books, story telling suddenly comes alive when they can interact with their favourite books. Authors and illustrators suddenly get access to new markets, are able to expand on their material and co-create with the children for extra layers of learning and support. Composers and songwriters can create immersive experiences where the children not only get access to listen and perform themselves, but also learn and explore new ways of music creation, singing and playing. There are no limitations to what we can do in the #phygical #virtal world. And what's so wonderful about this is that just as we are now seeing efforts to bring the physical world into the digital real, the opposite is also taking place where immersive experiences are moving out into the real world. Someone said today that there are only about 3000 #XR experts in the world available. This is so very new, that we are barely scratching the surface of what's to come. If you work within the cultural and creative industries and are looking for new and innovative ways to create, market and sell your artistic work then I highly recommend you learn more about #AI #GenerativeAI #web3 #VR #AR #XR to better understand what can be achieved with these new technologies. This is exactly what we do with Arts Dynamics, connect the intersection between creativity, tech and innovation to help artists and creatives to monetise what you do from idea to execution and beyond. In the coming days we will launch a brand new Arts Dynamics Creative Arts/Tech Meetup-Memebership to foster collabroation, networking and support between the arts and tech arenas.
