Koenigsegg is a Swedish avant-garde Megacar and innovative technology company. A record-breaking tradition courses through our history – the result of pushing the boundaries of automotive technology to achieve higher standards in ultimate performance. The extreme power and aerodynamic design of our cars are all globally homologated. Our customer-first approach is a driving factor to comply with all global safety, emissions, and noise regulations despite our bespoke and low volume production. We are situated in the quiet town of Ängelholm, Sweden and occupy revamped hangers that were formerly home to the oldest and most legendary Swedish fighter jet squadrons, from back in the 1930’s – the Ghost Squadron. They had a mantra, ‘The Show Must Go On’ which we have adopted, to allow the ghost to live on through our cars. It continues to inspire the company to this day. Right outside our facilities, we have our very own test track proving ground that used to be a fighter jet runway with its surrounding infrastructure. We use this proving ground to run rigorous tests on all our cars. We pride ourselves in the vertically integrated in-house development. There is a strong link between the ability of our cars, our proving ground and the fact that we holistically develop, design, engineer and test nearly everything in-house,. These allow us to innovate at a startling pace and to own our proprietary groundbreaking technology.

On December 17th, Koenigsegg had the pleasure of celebrating the graduation of our dedicated students from this semester´s Swedish for beginners’ class. This initiative is part of our ongoing collaboration with “Vuxenutbildningen i Laholm”. By offering Swedish language training, we help our team to integrate better into the community and foster a sense of belonging both at work and in their personal lives. While our corporate language may be English, we believe learning Swedish opens doors to increased well-being and easier communication for our employees in every aspect of life. A huge thank you to our teacher Daniel Åkesson, who has inspired and engaged our students in a meaningful way, guiding them through the fundamentals of the Swedish language. Musikhjälpen is an annual Swedish fundraising in December. It’s broadcasted live on TV and radio and creates awareness for different causes each year. This year´s cause is “Everyone has the right to survive pregnancy” and all the funds collected are donated to an organization that supports women in need of medical support before, during, and after child labor. Every minute, a woman dies somewhere in the world due to pregnancy and childbirth-related complications. It is a hidden catastrophe, overshadowed by wars, conflicts, climate disasters, poverty, and discrimination that prevent pregnant women from accessing the care they need. We are proud to participate in this fundraising event as part of our long-standing tradition. Our participation goes back several years. Let's make a difference together. On November 12th, Koenigsegg arranged our annual Koenigsegg Girls' get-together in our Event Studio. The "Girls' Night" at Koenigsegg is a beloved tradition that brings together the female workforce in a relaxed, empowering environment. It's a special evening dedicated to strengthening bonds across departments, sharing experiences, and building a supportive network. The event is all about fostering camaraderie, promoting collaboration, and providing a space where women of all roles can connect, inspire one another, and celebrate their achievements. Wow - Just wow! What began as a fun Koenigsegg track day at Laguna Seca with Koenigsegg Owners turned into a record-breaking moment! On August 18th, 2024, the Jesko Attack, driven by Markus Lundh, set a new lap record for homologated production cars with a time of 1:24.86 — despite it being both Markus’s and the Jesko’s first time at the track.
