We are thrilled to announce an improved packaging for our power wheelchairs in the EMEA region. The smaller boxes enable efficient stacking, reducing our CO2 footprint by 50% and transportation costs by 35%. Initially, we aimed to fit 45% of chairs into this packaging, but thanks to our dedicated employees, we have achieved nearly 80%. "Sustainability is an important focus area for Permobil, and achieving improvements there, with a better work environment and lower costs as side effects feel incredible", says Martin Barkman, EMEA Logistics Manager. We have also improved the work environment at our packing station with lighter and more manageable packaging, along with smaller packing material trolleys for increased flexibility and easier handling. #Permobil #InnovatingForIndividuals #Sustainability

We had a great time at Abilities Expo Los Angeles this weekend, telling people about our products, repairing more than 80 wheelchairs thanks to the Permobil Foundation, and reconnecting with old and new friends! Big News for Mobility & Independence in Minnesota!   On March 6th, the complex rehab community united to advocate for Minnesota state bill S.F. No. 974, which ensures coverage for power standing systems in wheelchairs—and we succeeded! The MN State Senate passed the bill, bringing us closer to making these life-changing systems accessible to all.
