We are Scandinavian outdoor brands with a strong outdoor heritage united in a group. We are approx 70 member companies joint together. SOG was founded in 2001 as an industry initiative to serve outdoor retailers and media in export markets. It unites well-respected outdoor gear manufacturers from all five Nordic countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland. With the heritage and traditions of Scandinavia. We make premium outdoor products, with innovations created from challenges of our demanding nature. We strive to do good, for people and for nature. We do this with passion and joy. Together.

  • Scandinavian Outdoor Award, The winners have been selected! After dedicated outdoor testing and lively discussions in Lenzerheide, the international jury of outdoor journalists and outdoor gear specialists agreed on the Scandinavian Outdoor Award Spring/Summer 2025 winners. The Overall Winner is Vaatelaastari FabPatch . To fix a hole or tear in apparel and outdoor gear to lengthen their lifespan is one of the most sustainable things to do. High-quality repair patches from the Finnish brand FabPatch will help you do the job with ease. What also sets FabPatch apart is their offer to the industry to make patches specifically for brands' clothing and gear to get the perfect color and fabric match when doing repairs. Currently, FabPatch is available for rainwear, merino, and stretch fabrics in different colors. They contain a high amount of certified recycled materials. The prestigious Sustainability Award goes to Icebug AB Järv RB9X. Icebug's new trail running shoe, Järv RB9X, features a high content of recycled and biobased materials. The jury praised its performance on trails, noting its comfort, grippy and well-cushioned sole, and high rebound. The soft yet durable upper, which contains 45% biobased nylon, dries quickly. Overall, it is an excellent shoe for long-distance trail runners. With proper preparation and execution, your participation in trade shows can be both successful and profitable. In this webinar, we will dive deep into how to best utilize Outdoor By ISPO and ISPO Munich to succeed with PR. We will offer practical tips on how to effectively communicate your PR message at ISPO and share insights and lessons learned from how PR and storytelling are driven at international fashion fairs, which can be directly applied to your PR strategy for Outdoor By ISPO.   The webinar is structured around a 30-minute presentation and a 15-minute discussion. If questions arise that we wish to discuss for an extended period, there will be an opportunity for continued discussion after the meeting for those interested, and also an opportunity to submit questions for feedback afterwards.   After the webinar, we will also share the checklist: “10 Steps for PR at Outdoor By ISPO.”   Fredrik Ekström, who leads the webinar, brings his extensive experience in PR work at international fairs such as Pitti Uomo, SEEK, CIFF/Revolver, Project Show, and ISPO. He is the founder of Above The Clouds and a PR expert with over 20 years of experience in consumer insights, brand development, and strategic communication, primarily within fashion, sports, and outdoor.
