🇺🇸 Today, U.S. citizens are participating in one of democracy's most important traditions—the right to vote. Here at the U.S. Embassy in Sweden, we are closely following this exercise in civic engagement, a cornerstone of the democratic process.

Space is vital for national security, enabling critical functions like communication, navigation, and intelligence. General Chance Saltzman, U.S. Space Force, Chief of Space Operations, emphasizes the importance of space in defense strategies. Sweden, as a NATO member, plays a significant role in space security. 🇺🇸🛰️

The Public Diplomacy Section had a great discussion with students at Järva gymnasium on the U.S. election process, including role-playing through the primary and national elections and info on the electoral college.
