These brand-new Volvo B5LH hybrids are now traversing the streets of Terrassa, a Catalan city in Spain. The ten buses are part of a total order of 31 units, and are operated by TMESA (Transports Municipals d'Egara), part of the Avanza Group, one of the largest bus operators in the country. Built on Volvo B5L Hybrid chassis, the buses feature bodies manufactured by Grupo Castrosua. They are equipped with 26 seats, 4 PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) seats, and 2 spaces for wheelchairs, ensuring accessibility. Additionally, they feature the latest safety technology, including driver assistance systems that detect blind spots and warn of frontal collisions. For passenger comfort, the buses are outfitted with USB ports and Wi-Fi routers, making every journey as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.
