A huge congratulations to our customer #HICOM on the successful launch of their #verticalfarm in #Osaka #Japan! This indoor farm is equipped with cold storage and food processing facilities, and our customer will be able to go from seed to branded packed salad in this warehouse. Some notable project #milestones by the Alesca Life team below: 1. 34 year old #underutilized warehouse converted into a vertical farm (no need for purpose built structure) 2. First design (Dec 2) to first seeding (Mar 28) in 117 days (including 22 days of shipping/customs clearance delays) 3. 30~60% lower #capex per kilogram compared to major global vertical farming projects 4. 10~20% lower #opex per kilogram compared to large-scale vertical farms in Japan 5. One of the most #energy #efficient vertical farms globally
