  • Ensuring our clients maximise their investment journey relies on several factors such as offering the best investment options and a seamless and easy-to-use experience. But, if clients don't have a good understanding of what they are investing in or why they are invested, sudden market shifts might derail their long-term planning and distract them from their financial goals. Addressing these issues is part of Endowus' advisory approach and we're thankful that established industry players recognise these efforts. Thank you to Asia Asset Management and the judges of this year's Best of the Best Awards for awarding Endowus in the areas of: - Best Investor Education in Hong Kong   - Best Fintech Innovation in Asset Management in Hong Kong  - Best Digital Wealth Management in Asia We've been consistently recognised by Asia Asset Management, building on the achievements from previous years, which further reflects how we're relentlessly improving our platform and services while catering to hyperlocal nuances in different markets. #Endowus #EndowusHK #AsiaAssetManagement #Bestofthebest

  • Ironically, employees at asset management companies don't always have the easiest access to invest in the funds their companies manage. Often times, they have to turn to other distribution channels such as brokerages and banks, where they are subjected to higher fees for retail share classes of their own company's funds.  Endowus recently launched the Employee Investment Solution Program in Hong Kong for Janus Henderson Investors employees, removing friction in how they can access the same investment services they offer to clients. The service is part of Endowus's B2B corporate solutions that help organisations navigate complex regulatory and compliance requirements which exist in financial services to ensure transparency and ethical practices. To date, Endowus has helped to establish similar corporate structures for more than 15 asset management firms. At Endowus, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their financial goals through smart, personalized investment strategies. To find out more about our B2B solutions, contact us to find out more. A special thank you to the dedicated team at Janus Henderson Investors for your trust and partnership with us. We hope that the programme plays an important role in positively impacting the organisation and your employees in Hong Kong. Investment involves risk. CPF members are increasingly willing to invest their CPF savings as they strive to generate higher returns than leaving the money sitting idle in their CPF accounts. In 2023, CPF members put an unprecedented S$5.9 billion into their CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS) accounts. As of Q2 2024, $27.2 billion was invested in CPFIS, a growth of 58% from the end of 2021. Still, it is understandable that many CPF holders are wary about investing their CPF savings. In this month's Science of Wealth column with The Business Times, Endowus Co-founder and Chairman Samuel Rhee and Chief Investment Officer Hugh Chung take a deep dive into how leaving CPF monies as is or choosing to invest can turn out differently for CPF holders. Read more to understand how investing your CPF funds can help secure your retirement and long-term financial goals: https://lnkd.in/gGq_YnuN For an in-depth exploration of retirement planning and growing your CPF, join Sam next Wednesday at noon as he speaks with Albert Tse, CFA, CAIA, Head of South Asia, Amundi and Joel Teasdel, Head of Wealth Management Asia ex-Japan at Dimensional Fund Advisors. • By 2030, one in four people in Singapore will be aged 65 or older, making retirement readiness more critical than ever. With the closure of the CPF Special Account (SA) on 19 Jan 2025, and the end of the “shielding hack”, CPF members, particularly those who have reached or exceeded the Full Retirement Sum (FRS), may need to re-evaluate their retirement strategies. As the only digital advisor for CPF investing, Endowus is committed to making CPF investing better and empowering CPF members. On the back of the recent SA closure, Endowus will be leading a discussion on the strategies and opportunities for Singapore investors to retire well in this new landscape. Join us next Wednesday at 12.00 pm, as Samuel Rhee, Group CIO of Endowus, speaks with Albert Tse, CFA, CAIA, Head of South Asia, Amundi and Joel Teasdel, Head of Wealth Management Asia ex-Japan at Dimensional Fund Advisors, on: - How the SA closure may impact retirement strategies  - How should Singapore investors assess opportunities in the new regime - What the viable options are for Singapore investors Sign up now: https://lnkd.in/gWCKbh7m Investment involves risk. • While it has been a particularly eventful period at Endowus, we're often reminded of the community around us driven by the mission-focus of our brand. As part of our #EndowusGivesBack (EGB) initiative in Hong Kong, our team engaged with the Love 21 Foundation in San Po Kong, a charity that empowers the Down syndrome and autistic community in Hong Kong through sport, nutrition, and holistic support programmes. Love 21 Foundation supports over 600 families affected by Down Syndrome and Autism in Hong Kong, many of whom are single mothers facing significant challenges such as discrimination and limited access to care and support. During our visit, we engaged with families supported by the foundation in sporting activities that help to keep them physically and mentally active. We also heard several of their stories which were both moving and inspirational. Our collaboration with Love 21 Foundation was enlightening and humbling, reinforcing our commitment to the community. The team was thoroughly inspired by the resilience and spirit of the Love 21 community. We encourage other organisations to consider engaging with the Love 21 Foundation for their CSR initiatives. • Endowus Chief Investment Officer, Hugh Chung was on Bloomberg's Insights with Haslinda this morning to share thoughts on the recent market performance. Over the last week, global markets were rocked by the introduction of DeepSeek's AI models. It's a wakeup call that investors shouldn't just focus on a handful of names, or just one sector, but seek diversification to better protect their portfolios. Investors might also find diversification opportunities in Asian markets which have sound valuations based on fundamentals. • Last Wednesday at our Personal Investing for Finance Professionals at Pedder Building, Endowus' Chief Executive Officer Gregory Van and Chief Investment Officer Hugh Chung spoke with Martin Matsui, former HKMA Chief Strategy Officer & head of Asset Allocation about how large institutions allocate their investments. They discussed the recent performance of Ivy League endowments, capital market assumptions of major classes, the suitability of private markets in one's portfolio, and the philosophy behind liabilities-driven asset allocation. Attendees were more interested in the Endowus approach to structuring wealth in an evidence-based way, with efficient and diversified portfolios matched to the duration(time horizon), liquidity needs, and volatility tolerance of their goals. Global markets experienced the largest one-day sell-off in a long time - how should investors respond? Deepseek introduced its open-source AI model R1 which reportedly outperforms the leading AI models including ChatGPT’s. Nasdaq dropped 3% and tech and AI stocks saw a massive sell-off.  In the long run, a faster, more efficient and cheaper AI model is positive for the industry and the markets as a whole. Knee-jerk reactions are common and it’s easy to get lost in the flurry of news. We’ve always encouraged our clients at Endowus to focus on the long term, diversify, and be clear about their financial goals. That will help build a resilient portfolio able to withstand market-moving events such as this.  For investment advice on market movements, schedule an appointment to speak to our advisors at https://lnkd.in/gGHMY-TS This article is for information purposes only and should not be considered as an offer, solicitation or advice for purchase of any investment products. • A new leadership in the US, dividing paths of growth, inflation, interest rates in the various geographies, and multi-faceted risks are the foundations of the markets in 2025. Many in the markets are expecting that the US is poised to reflate and US stocks will likely outperform the rest of the developed world on earnings. Asia will see improvements as well, particularly in Japanese stocks due to governmental reforms. Hear from Fidelity as they list out their top 8 investment convictions for the Year of the Snake as you navigate the investment horizon and invest for the long term.
