The event featured a guided tour of the hotel, giving our Heartists the opportunity to showcase their workstations and daily responsibilities to their loved ones. Our goal was to inspire participants to pursue fulfilling careers in the hospitality industry and highlight the meaningful contributions they can make. To further enhance the day, our Culinary Team prepared a delicious lunch, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Introducing our Security Executive, Alif! Alif coordinates security measures and liaises with authorities and the security team to protect guests, colleagues, and assets. His role involves developing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations for a secure and enjoyable experience. At events held at Fairmont Singapore & Swissôtel The Stamford, he is responsible for ensuring the safety of all attendees, including contractors, vendors, and guests. This involves utilizing lightning detectors (as shown in picture) to continuously monitor weather conditions to assess the safety of ongoing activities and mitigate any potential risks. The training he received in responding to fire emergencies, implementing incident management protocols and completing BizSafe Level 2 and lifesaving courses not only significantly enhanced his skill sets but also added depth to his job scope as he progressed from a supervisor to an executive over his tenure of 3.8 years.
