As Asia asserts itself as a driving force in the global economy, how are brands adapting their strategies to align with this shift? This was a central theme at the Provoke Asia Pacific Summit, where our Managing Partner at FINN Partners Singapore, Naeema Clark and SPAG FINN Partners, Aman Gupta, contributed to a compelling discussion on Asia’s growing influence. The consensus? Local authenticity is key. Key discussion points: • Understanding local cultures: Success in Asia requires more than just adaptation; it’s about immersing in local traditions and values to build authentic connections. • Asia’s global influence: From tech to digital innovations, Asian markets are shaping global trends, requiring brands to adopt a more localised and nuanced approach. • Building local relevance: Establishing strong connections with local audiences is crucial, and brands must be mindful of cultural nuances to truly resonate. The PRovoke Media Asia-Pacific Summit ignited a powerful discussion on Asia’s impact on the worldwide stage. For one, the dramatic shift from Western brands leading the way to how Asian brands are now driving global influence. It’s not just about K-pop; it's about our interconnected economies, pioneering technology, and innovative strategies that are redefining global standards. Explore the key takeaways and prepare to rethink your strategy! #Communications #AsiaPacific #Summit #FINNSG
What a lively #panel we had this morning at the #PRovokeAsiaPacificSummit! Stepping in last-minute to join Sung Lee 李傃娥 Lee from Novartis and Jasmine Mobarek from HP, with my colleague Aman Gupta expertly moderating, I was reminded once again of the dynamic force that is #Asia in today's #global landscape. Our discussion on "Asia's Role in the Changing World Order and Its Implications for Brands" was a wake-up call. The era of simply "bringing in the Asian perspective" is over. We really need to put ourselves now in the driver's seat, steering global strategies and setting trends that reverberate worldwide. Key takeaways that struck me: - #Hyperlocal is the new global: It's not just about implementation anymore. We need to get granular with our #strategies and #messages, tailoring them to the rich tapestry of cultures within Asia. - Asia as a #trendsetter: From #Kpop's global #domination to ground-breaking tech #innovations, we're not following – we're #leading. - Courageous but mindful communication: As specialists and connection drivers, it's our responsibility to push #boundaries and challenge the status quo. - #EasttoWest rollout: More and more, we're seeing strategies conceived in Asia being adopted globally. Having worn many hats across #corporate and #agency roles in Asia over the years, I've had a front-row seat to this #transformation. Whether working with multinational giants, scrappy start-ups, or homegrown Asian powerhouses, one thing is clear: the Asian Century is here. So, I pose this question to you: How are you helping brands not just adapt to, but thrive in this new reality? Are we being bold enough in our strategies? Are we truly leveraging the immense potential Asia offers? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Let's continue this crucial conversation! #AsianCentury #CommunicationsStrategy #GlobalBrands #PRovokeSummitAsia Jasmine Mobarek Sung Lee 李傃娥 Shivani Gupta Catherine Feliciano-Chon Annouchka Behrmann Jenny Lo Jason Cao Joyce Liong Safina Samian Howard Solomon Jean-Michel Dumont Peter Finn Gil Bashe Junaidah Dahlan Shelby (Pritchett) Armstrong Fiona Koh FINN Partners Singapore PRovoke Media Geraldine Kan Benjamin Jun Tai
