[𝐍𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬, 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬!]   Our watercolour workshop was a splash of fun! 🖼️💦   Held over two sessions, our staff's artistic talents truly shone in watercolour painting. As part of No Meeting Fridays engagement, it was an opportunity for our staff to unwind at the end of a busy work week and connect with the arts. Our colleagues not only had the chance to hone their artistic skills, it was also a colourful and distinctive display of self-expression. Everyone's piece was unique!   Helmed by our very own Sheryl Law from HomeTeamNS' Human Resources department, her background in contemporary arts as well as western painting allowed her to share her love for the arts with her fellow colleagues. "I felt happy and relaxed being able to rekindle with art again as it's been some time since I last painted. Everyone's artwork was fantastic, and they did really well despite it being the first time painting for some. I hope that all attendees had fun and know that there's no right or wrong in art! Be bold and daring. Getting into art doesn't have to be difficult and I hope to see everyone start making art in their own time," Sheryl shared.   A big thank you to all our talented participants. In today's digital world, where we increasingly interact with each other and businesses through our mobile devices, strong mobile connectivity is a cornerstone for delivering satisfying experiences. When we first moved into our newest clubhouse at Bedok Reservoir, the initial mobile connectivity was limited, it impacted the seamless digital experience our members can enjoy at our SMART clubhouse. Over the past year, we have been working closely with the telcos to enhance our clubhouse's mobile connectivity. We are overjoyed to share today that the mobile connection at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir just got a major upgrade! We'd like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mr Tian Chong Ng, Mr Nikhil Eapen, Mr Manjot Singh Mann, and their outstanding teams at Singtel, StarHub, and M1 Limited, respectively for coming together to successfully install their Combined Antenna System (CAS) at our Bedok Reservoir clubhouse. Their efforts have greatly enhanced the clubhouse experience for our members, enabling us to connect more meaningfully and share ideas more effectively, creating a more engaging and enriching space for our community. HomeTeamNS has embarked on a new partnership with the CIVIL SERVICE CLUB!   Starting today, 2 September 2024, HomeTeamNS and CSC members can access both Associations’ clubhouse facilities and enjoy affiliate rates through a reciprocal programme Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two Associations. This partnership will benefit close to 340,000 HomeTeamNS and CSC members as it expands access to a wide array of recreational facilities and activities that promote family bonding and healthy lifestyles.   Our Chief Executive, Ms Agnes Eu, shared that “HomeTeamNS and CSC see a synergy in our offerings. By combining our strengths and resources, we instantaneously expand our members’ access to spaces beyond our own clubhouses. This allows us to further elevate our members’ experience efficiently.”   We are excited to embark on this journey with CSC. We are proud to be a Gold Partner for this year’s Community Chest Singapore Heartstrings Walk, which was made possible through HomeTeamNS's first Charity Golf Tournament. A group of our staff, volunteers, and their family and friends enjoyed a nice evening walk overlooking the scenic views of the Marina Bay Promenade Waterfront. It was a special and meaningful walk as we also got to amplify a good cause—walking towards a more caring and inclusive society! HomeTeamNS has been organising golf tournaments for over 20 years, but this year was the first time a charity element was included in our annual golf tournament as we hope to drive change beyond the golf course. $100,000 was raised, and the funds were donated to Community Chest Singapore, which supports 200 over critical social service programmes offered to those in need. We thank our members, volunteers, partners, and sponsors for hitting the golf course for a good cause, making our first Charity Golf tournament a success! HomeTeamNS Family Day 2024 was a blast! 🎉   Our signature Family Day event made a spectacular comeback on 29 June 2024. This year's iteration saw members and their families having limitless fun and enjoying an exclusive after-hours experience at one of Singapore's premier attractions, Universal Studios Singapore.   This year's event was made extra special as we included a charity pay-it-forward element, where we welcomed 60 social service users and their families from Fei Yue Community Services to join in the fun with us. This was made possible because of HomeTeamNS members’ generosity and kindness in paying forward Universal Studios Singapore tickets to them. We are thrilled to have the support of Community Chest Singapore, who introduced us to Fei Yue Community Services, as it opens more doors to opportunities for us to do good as a company, aligning with our company's commitment to corporate social responsibility. We have a shining star among us! ⭐   One of our lifeguards at 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐍𝐒 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐛, 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧, has been awarded the Star Rescue Individual Award 2024! The accolade was presented to him on 31 July at the International Lifeguard Appreciation Day Dinner and Awards held at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel.   The Star Rescue Individual Award recognises lifeguards who have provided a rescue effort and/or first aid, and provided the relevant safety advice to at least one affected person.   Sharaom's vigilance saved the life of a child who was seen struggling to swim in the jacuzzi pool. After pulling her to safety, he proceeded to monitor the victim for signs of shock and subsequently provided essential safety advice to the child’s mother.   Sharaom is a shining example of how our service partners amplify HomeTeamNS' values by going above and beyond to achieve excellence in their work, ensuring that our members can enjoy our clubhouse facilities safely and with a peace of mind.   We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Sharaom on this well-deserved honour and we look forward to celebrating more success stories together.   #StarRescueAwards #ServiceExcellence #Lifeguard #HomeTeamNSKhatib   

In support of the Ministry of Social and Family Development, Singapore (MSF)’s nationwide initiative – National Family Festival, we celebrated families with our members in June where our clubhouses transformed into lively hubs for family-friendly events and activities. From immersing in carnival fun to getting firsthand experiences at exciting showcases from our Home Team heroes, and an adrenaline pumping night at Universal Studios Singapore, we loved seeing our big HomeTeamNS family coming together and bonding with their loved ones at all our clubhouses.   At HomeTeamNS, we recognise family support as an integral part of our National Servicemen’s National Service journey, hence we are committed to creating opportunities for meaningful family play and bonding. We are excited to share that HomeTeamNS have successfully attained the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) accreditation for 2 of our adventure facilities - 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐍𝐒 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐢𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐤 and 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐐 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐍𝐒 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐛 earlier in May!   The ACCT is an internationally recognised standards developer for challenge course, aerial adventure park, canopy tour, and zip line industry. Challenge course operators conferred the ACCT Accredited Operator status would have demonstrated compliance with the ACCT Standards through inspection, training documentation, and a detailed onsite operation review.   Through this accreditation, we further bolster our commitment to safety and best practices which is of utmost importance to us. It also affirmed our ability to deliver programmes and high-element activities with high safety standards, ensuring exceptional experiences to all of our clients.   Most importantly, the accreditation status opens more doors for us to run school programmes at these two facilities, as we have now met the Ministry of Education (MOE)’s requirements for conducting high-element activities.   We look forward to welcoming more adventurers to HomeTeamNS, where you can have fun in a safe environment.   #HomeTeamNS #ACCT #AdventureCentre #AdventureHQ #Adventurelife

This year’s event is extra special as we added a charity element. We would like to extend a BIG THANK YOU to our participants and sponsors for your generosity in making a difference in the lives of others.
