Celebrating #Community and #Compassion at ISS Facility Services, Singapore!   In celebration of Mental Health Month this October, we came together at our corporate office for a vibrant Charity Drive, an insightful Mental Health Sharing session, and a joyful Deepavali celebration!   Our Mental Health Sharing explored the positive effects of decluttering on mental health, mindfulness through meditation, and an inspiring talk from HealthServe about their work supporting disadvantaged migrant workers. To raise funds for this meaningful cause, our generous colleagues decluttered their homes, donating unused items for sale to support HealthServe’s essential programs.   We also enjoyed learning about the significance of Deepavali, adding to the warmth and inclusivity of the day. Over the past two days, we’ve taken a moment to recognise and celebrate our incredible Placemakers at ISS Facility Services, Singapore as part of #ThankYourCleanerDay. Their unwavering commitment and hard work form the backbone of our mission to create clean and safe environments for all. A special mention goes to Auntie Quek, aged 78, who has been with us for 18 years and continues to bring her dedication and positive spirit each day at work. She shared that what keeps her motivated are the friendships she has built with her colleagues and the wonderful support from her supervisors at ISS. Auntie Quek is a true example of how we, alongside our clients, deeply appreciate the invaluable contributions of our cleaning teams. As we join Kärcher Singapore's global movement, we proudly honour all our cleaning teams who make the world work better every day. This year, we also celebrated with over 100 of our dedicated Placemakers at STMicroelectronics BHQ, recognising their vital role in creating welcoming and healthy workplaces. Happy Children’s Day!   Today, we opened our doors to the children of our colleagues for a meaningful and joyful Children’s Day celebration! Watching the little ones explore their parents’ workplace was truly heartwarming. They eagerly learned about the importance of #sustainability and #recycling, and their fascination grew as they saw the impact of oil spills on marine life. Their curiosity and energy were contagious, reminding us of the power of learning through play.   Beyond these learning moments, they unleashed their creativity with poster coloring, enjoyed a fun office tour, and spread joy by sharing smiles and high fives with our team. The day was a perfect blend of fun, connection, and environmental awareness, creating memories that will be cherished.   At ISS, we take pride in building a family-friendly workplace that fosters #inclusion and #belonging, not only for our colleagues but also for their loved ones. Happy World Cleanup Day!   Recently, we celebrated the power of #community and the impact of small actions. Over 30 of our passionate Placemakers volunteered for a clean-up at Pulau Ubin, collecting a total of 120 kg of waste!   We’re proud to have taken part, demonstrating our commitment to caring for #people, #places, and the #planet. We had the privilege of recently welcoming back Troels Bjerg, Regional CEO of ISS Asia-Pacific/Americas/Germany and Global Business Performance, and Aksh Rohatgi, Managing Director of ISS Asia Pacific, to ISS Facility Services, Singapore.   A key part of their visit was meeting with our partners at #ChangiAirport, where they reaffirmed our commitment to delivering outstanding service and strengthening our partnership in creating seamless experiences for stakeholders and customers. We were honoured to host Liz Benison, our Group Chief People & Transformation Officer, at ISS Facility Services, Singapore.
