After graduating from Lasalle College, my goal was clear—I wanted to design sets for music videos. But life took an unexpected turn. I didn’t pursue a career in the creative industry and, over the years working as an interior designer, I nearly lost sight of my true passion. Then an opportunity at Mediacorp came up, and I applied for the set designer role via LinkedIn. Fast forward six years, and I’m now designing dynamic, innovative sets, allowing my creativity to flow freely. Looking back, the journey took longer than I expected, but every twist and turn helped shape the designer I am today. I’m grateful I never gave up—and even more grateful that I found my way back to what I truly love." The entries showcased the incredible talents and creativity of Singaporeans and what Singapore means to them. From food and values to landmarks, cultures and iconic symbols, the designs beautifully captured the essence and vibrancy of our little red dot. The campaign sparked national pride in celebration of our nation’s journey, reaching 4.9 million socially.
