Established in 2012, Mocha Chai Laboratories (MCL) is a post-production house fully equipped with a state-of-the-art Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos facility. We achieve premium quality tailored to each filmmaker’s vision from ideation to story development right through to post production and delivery. As a one-stop digital film lab, our award-winning team works closely with our clients to ensure that the workflow for every story’s journey is smooth and conforms to the highest standards for all screens from mobile, TV to cinema. Being the first to bring Digital Cinema Packages (DCP)-related services to the region, our capabilities include delivering from 2K, 4K, stereoscopic 3D to HDR. We have in our facility, a certified Dolby Atmos dubbing theatre, a one-of-its kind in Southeast Asia, as well as Dolby Vision HDR monitoring (first in Singapore), and a DCI-compliant cinema projector. Notable projects include The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, My New Sassy Girl, Sicario, Pop Aye, HBO’s Folklore, 7 Letters to name but a few. Our clients include CJ ENM HK, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, MediaCorp, Zhao Wei Films, MM2 Entertainment, Clover Films, Anticipate Pictures, and more. We have since expanded our services to include Quality Checks, Film Digitising and Scanning. Most recently, we are the official encoding house and aggregator for Apple TV. Mocha Chai Laboratories will continue to invest in technology and talent as we pride ourselves to be at the forefront of the media technology scene. The most Personal Computer
I have been trying to find the words to describe my feelings after the demo. There are many, and I can’t find one to accurately describe it. It is emotional, it is mind expanding and it is also one which provides me with so much to think about. It definitely made me wonder how this would change so many aspects of our lives - from entertainment, to work to social life etc. The Vision Pro currently is such a unique product, I am not sure it can really be explained to anyone with words. The one way is to experience it, use it, and then see how it makes you feel. I describe my encounter with it, like as if I am seeing someone at the homebrew convention, introducing what a personal computer could be - no one saw how the personal computer revolution would lead to desktop publishing, spreadsheets, internet, e commerce, YouTube and more. This is like a Time Machine, a teleportation machine, and the future of computing all crashed into the present. I am not sure if I am even accurately depicting what I am describing.
