About us
Big 3 was founded in 2008 in a bedroom primarily as a video production business. Today it is a group of media companies spanning across multiple media disciplines. We now have over 150 staff to date, spanning across 4 offices in Singapore, Malaysia, China and India. We strongly believe that companies should not only be profit driven but should also strive to create and contribute value to their communities. Big 3 Media has grown exponentially over the years. The past 2 weeks has been a whirlwind. Our series 'And Cut!' had it's world premiere at the Oscar qualifier festival Cinequest. We were worried that not many people would show up on a Sunday morning right after daylight savings hit. We figured we would be lucky to have 20-30 folks show. Nearly 200 people came. From all over the Bay Area as well as filmmakers from different parts of the world. We screened alongside some amazing pilots and being the only one from India, we were a bit worried that some of the Hindi jokes wouldn't land. Once again, we were mistaken. The audience laughed, cheered, and clapped with a frenzy that filled us with joy. Our goofy little show held it's own amongst some cinematic masterpieces and we couldn't have been happier. We were also surprised when multiple people told us that the show would do great in the US as well. We weren't sure how to react to this until this was further validated by Ex-Microsoft MVP and renowned Hollywood critic - Ric Bretschneider, who reviewed the 'And Cut!' pilot himself. https://lnkd.in/gaQZkXRM Thank you to Cinequest and all the wonderful people who have supported this little comedy from Mumbai.
