💬 Shai Ganu, Managing Director; Global Leader – Executive Compensation & Board Advisory at WTW, and Rajeev Peshawaria, CEO of Stewardship Asia Centre, sparked a lively debate on the balance between purpose and incentives, questioning whether an overemphasis on incentives is fueling greenwashing.
📢 Kiran Bedi, Founder of India Vision Foundation; Former Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, shared the importance of consistent purpose-driven leadership and the power of open, transparent communication in fostering change.
🤝 During a fireside chat moderated by Suling Lin, Senior Columnist at The Straits Times, Pamela Chng, CEO of Bettr, stressed that leadership should be built on trust and compassion, while Asha Gupta, Regional President, Asia & Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer at Amway spoke about how their social engine drives the development of people, and Sunil Puri, Senior VP of Research & Engagement at Stewardship Asia Centre, highlighted that ethical integrity is at the core of effective leadership.
🌍 Moderated by Dr. Vinika Devasar Rao, our panel discussion with Bey Soo Khiang, Vice Chairman, RGE; Chairman, April Group, and Sook Yee Tai, Advisory Board Director, OCTAVE Institute Limited, explored how sustainability and culture can drive long-term profitability and human wellbeing.
🤖 Dr. Stephen Cave, Director of the Institute for Technology and Humanity, University of Cambridge wrapped up the summit by discussing AI ethics and the challenges of ensuring AI’s rapid growth contributes to a just and sustainable future.
