Delivery Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Delivery & Drive-Thru Senior Manager, you will help to grow our food delivery business with a key focus to recruit new customers and increase order frequency and drive lifetime value amongst existing users


You are the subject matter expert in the e-commerce and food delivery space and offer channel expert advice to campaign and platform leads and drive shared goals/KPIs and lead in the competitive landscape.


You will plan and execute the Food Delivery marketing calendar to grow share of market and achieve sales targets across owned McDelivery and third-party operator (3PO) channels. This would include:


  • Product mix strategies to build channel-wide and retailer specific media and merchandising plan to drive and optimise merchandising / suggest sell to drive sales and average check


  • Deals/promotions strategies for delivery channels to drive demand, support the main marketing campaigns, dayparts and business objectives


  • Acquisition and performance: Leverage data to optimize media plans to drive traffic and funnel conversion through effective customer journeys and clickstreams, search and navigation, content placement and drive media efficiencies, conversions and ROIs


  • Customer engagement strategies to improve end to end customer experience, optimal UI/UX to drive customer engagement and satisfaction – when a customer receives a McDelivery bag, it should be a feel-good customer experience from start to end


  • 3rd Party Partnership management – Develop E-comm engagement strategy with partners through Joint Business Planning - channel management, drive demand through co-marketing efforts


  • Innovation: Evaluate and provide thought leadership on Delivery accessibility on new Channels/tech/digital innovation


  • Partner with the CRM & Loyalty manager and 3PO partners to understand the customer lifecycle and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.


The role will also need to support and work closely with the Restaurant General Managers, advertising agencies, key suppliers, cross-functional teams and logistics partner to ensure smooth execution. To effectively accomplish this, the incumbent must build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.


Essential Skills & Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience. Strong domain expertise in partnerships management
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
  • Adaptable, analytical thinker who can work both strategically as well as in a hands-on/executional capacity
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and handle competing priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to understand program metrics and comfortable with numbers and analysis to dive deep
  • Experience with working with multiple teams and stakeholders, creating and executing project plans and delivering results on time and on budget
  • Demonstrated ability to “read” the marketplace and be culturally connected to the consumer.
