Are you a Revolut user? 🚀 Early Revolut Crowdfunders See 40,000% Increase in Investment Value! 💥On Friday, UK fintech giant Revolut announced a new valuation of $45 billion, up from $33 billion. This incredible milestone has resulted in a staggering 40,000% increase in value for early crowdfunders who invested in Revolut back in 2016. These lucky investors, who initially took a chance on the then one-year-old startup via platforms like Crowdcube, have seen the paper value of their stakes skyrocket. Some have even crossed the $1 million mark! 🤑 As Matt Cooper, co-CEO of Crowdcube, highlighted, "It’s a pretty unprecedented event in UK and European tech," especially given that retail investors rarely get the opportunity to invest in early-stage tech giants like Spotify. While the potential for massive returns is real, it's important to remember the risks involved. Crowdfunding investments can be highly volatile, with some startups unfortunately not making it.
