GOATED

This game has issues -- it doesn't run well, it crashed to desktop every single time I booted it up for the first time in a given day, had to switch in and out of settings when loading the game in later chapters to get it to cooperate (though it never crashed in the middle of the game for me.) But I made it work and played through the entire game -- and I say that as someone who almost never finishes a game.

The content warning is well deserved. What on earth was I doing playing this when I was a 13 year old? There are some truly messed up moments in this game, and that's one of its strongest suits. The enemies are somewhat repetitive, but I love their designs. I love the world designs too. Vale of Tears is iconic.

Also, Alice is really cool.

Too bad EA f***ed up and canned Asylum. It would have rounded out the series really really nicely

Give me American McGee's Alice remastered.
