Today is Homeless Day and it makes me think. In my neighborhood, I often see the same man standing on a corner. Sometimes I wonder what his story is, how he got into this situation. It's easy to look away, but today I resolve to at least greet him in a friendly way, maybe start a conversation. Each of us can make a small contribution so that no one feels invisible.
