well, theres fun to be had however you cant change the controls. so if you are used to using different buttons to grab items you either have to adjust or just wait for an update. as it stands since you cant change the controls its hard to recommend. that said, its still in early access so im sure they will fix this.

its trash. i cant understand why bother making a vr game and not take advantage of the immersion. you cant reload the weapons yourself, thats done automatically. theres no option to change this that i could find.

thats if you can even enter the options. selecting anything is nearly impossible. you think you would 'shoot' to select the menu or tap with your finger but no, you have to sort of put your hand through the menu to select what you want.

also there is no head tracking, only hand tracking. and once again you cant change this either.

its a lousy game. dont get this. its trash and insulting to even put it on vr.

its very similar to left 4 dead which is always a good thing however there is one major issue that just ruins this game.

if the host leaves your game ends.

you can be playing for 30 minutes or so but then if the host gets butthurt or something its game over. sorry.
and the thing is you can only upgrade your weapons if you complete missions. but you cant complete missions if the host quits. so then you'll never upgrade your weapons.

unless you wanna play solo, but what fun is that?

so instead just play left 4 dead 2 with the vr mod. at least that game actually works and has a player base.

once was enough. never again. it sucks so bad.

great game! ive been a fan of the series for a long time now and i am pleased to say this is pretty good! if you are a fan of survivor horror you will be very familiar with this. my only issue is that it is not scary at all.

An absolute classic and a master class in RPGs. does need some mods to get running properly without crashing however but after that you have one of the greatest games ever made.

overall i recommend this game to anyone who enjoys games like resident evil. that said its incredibly short. i beat it on my first play through in 3 hours and thats with me really taking my time and exploring everything. its short but sweet. what is here is excellent and i look forward to what is next. the game ends on a lousy cliff hanger. in fact i had no idea i was near the end and it caught me off guard when the game just ended.

dont let that deter you though. get this on sale for sure. great game overall.

I've been a huge fan of mgs for 20 years now and have played them all relentlessly. I know these games better than the town I grew up in. that said, the master collection is a hard buy. it has some serious issues that really bring it down. the audio is horrid for starters and the resolution is 720 which looks really bad. and you don't need to look far in the forums to see it has a whole bunch of other issues.

that said you do get a smooth 60fps which is more than you got on the ps3 and an emulator so thats good. the new controls are easy to get used to. plus some of the issues can be fixed with fan mods which is a must imo.

if you plan on modding this to fix some of the issues then i suggest buying it. if not then I suggest waiting until they fix the game. if konami fixes the game I will update this review to reflect that.

its not very good. while the formula is there it just controls very badly. whenever you switch to a weapon there is a second or so delay before you can use it which can make the difference between life or death. also aiming is incredibly floaty and its difficult to make accurate shots. im a huge fan of survivor horror games but i would say skip this one.

pretty good remake. actually runs pretty well. hardly had any stuttering that other people have mentioned. pick it up on sale
