Character Portraits

Description
Character Portraits - Replacement portraits for the historical characters in the Sacred and the Profane dlc. Plus a few base game special character portrait replacements. Some of these characters you will encounter quite easily; others are very rare... the portraits here appear in the Sacred and Profane DLC. But the mod will work without the DLC.

Plus s selection of seven male and seven female character portraits. These are not linked to a specific nation or tribe so can be selected during the character creation panel on game start. They will only be seen in the character creation panel. These are unique portraits for this mod and will not appear elsewhere. A little 'taster' if you like of the main batch of character portrait mods I have made available.

This mod combines two old mods into one.

Hi UwUmancer - when you start a game select PICK LATER for Leader ARCHETYPE. This will open a Allow Customized Leaders, toggle this on. Start your game. Then, before you settle your first city, you will have a panel to select various leader attributes including portrait. Enjoy!

New to the game, so maybe I'm missing something here, but when you say: "They will only be seen in the character creation panel", what do you mean? I have never run into a "character creation panel" while playing, either in scenarios or in custom single player games. It seems to be (as of now) that you can only make custom leader by making a mod, so some clarification would be nice, and as I've not seen anyone inquire about this, I assume that I'm just overlooking or misunderstanding something. Thanks!

You are right about historical flair, but sometimes I burn the midnight oil and fatigue makes it harder to recognise all those King/Queen renames.

Thank you Hendricus. Its actually very easy and not something to be scared of! BUT I removed the renaming files when I uploaded the Royal Titles mod.So feel free to download Kush! You dont like the renaming? I think it adds a little historical flair!

Thanks for your hard work, I like your mods. skipped the portaits of Kush because they renamed their King and Queen, even tough you explained how easy it was to reset that in a file and only had to do this and that. I keep a safe distance from manipulating files. Nevertheless thanks for increasing the joy of playing this game.
