Description
Have you been wondering what the point of visiting factions is? Look no further, this mod is the answer.

- Convince visitors to join your faction!
- Increase faction relationships!
- Treat visitors well by providing them with rooms, guest beds and joy activities!
- Sell them junk by placing it in their shopping area! (shelves and containers work too)
- Happy guests will help out with your chores!
- Guests can be invited via the Comms Console!
- There is a tab that lists all present guests!
- You can set up dispensers as vending machines!

Can be added mid-game.

Load order
Hospitality works best when loaded as late as possible. You can safely put it at the end of the list.

Known incompatible mods
- Any mod that gives guests animals (or slaves),
- Giddy Up (works fine, but guests won't use mounts)
- Colony Manager (you will need to start a new game, or your work priorities will be jumbled - you can use Fluffy's Work Tab to prevent/fix this)
- Xenn faction mod (their guest groups won't spawn)
- Custom storytellers that are not fully / correctly implemented (guest tab won't show. Always load Hospitality after storytellers)
- Area Inclusion Exclusion (pawns won't spawn)
- Denser Beds (bunkbeds break when turned to guest beds)
- Ignorance Is Bliss (factions out of your tech range won't visit)
- Keep Bed Ownership (guest beds can't be destroyed)
- Simple Sidearms (will not work correctly if the "No friendly inventory spill" option is on)
- Explorite Core (guests won't be able to claim beds)
- Simple Food Selection (constant no food alert, lag)
- Camping Tent (stats are lost when converting to guest bed)
- Food restrictions (not a mod, but guests use the default restrictions. Changing them can cause them to never eat)
- Better Loading (guest beds disappear / can't be placed)

Reporting bugs
Should you encounter any issues, first make sure the mod has updated correctly. You do this by unsubscribing and resubscribing whatever mod you think causes the issue. Then restart Steam. If this doesn't help, clear out your downloaded mods folder and restart Steam.

If the issue persists, press CTRL-F12 (right after the problem occurs!) to upload your log and paste the link and a description of what went wrong HERE[github.com] or in the discussions section. If possible, provide a screenshot of the error, the link to your log and an explanation of what happened. This will speed up fixing the problem tremendously.

In 90% of all cases, the problem is a conflicting mod, failed update or a corrupted installation on your side. First try to resubscribe this mod (and restart Steam), then try a different load order. The Mod Manager mod and Mod Sorter[bitbucket.org] can help find obvious issues.

If you just complain and don't include an error log, I'm not gonna do anything about it.

Guests generally don't buy buildings, unless minified. I don't know what those taps are, but it sounds like they're tagged wrong then.

So, is there a way to blacklist certain objects being bought, even if in a shopping area? Because, despite them being non-minifiable furniture, my guests keep buying my vanilla nutrient paste expanded nutrient paste taps and walking off with them, forcing me to rebuild them.

Probably errors. Even more so, mod conflicts. Last time I checked, prisoners worked fine.

so with hospitality on, no one seems to want to leave. I captured 2 prisoners last raid, released them both and they both walk back to my prison infirmary to rest. Ill wait to see what happens when theyre full health but this is killing my game as I get a bunch of random pawns that wont leave.

It is the quest with the village and the terminal but since they appear I get guests form them and then I think they just stay in faction list and are now perma hostile

Not this mod. I'm 90% sure.
There are vanilla quests that were introduced that do something "similar" to what this mod does.
The "Royalty" expansion added "desperate refugees" and a "betrayal offer" counter quest.
The "Ideology" expansion added "Beggars." Ideology also added "Relic Hunt" with a subquest "The Villagers" where you go to their village to hack a terminal - which causes them to go hostile (and most people end up killing them).

With this mod I've never seen a quest like what you are talking about, and Orion has clearly stated they aren't adding "new content" (which is fine) so I cannot imagine that what you are talking about is from this mod (although Orion can speak for themselves, should they wish).

so not fully sure its this mod but im like 85% sure i get the devoted tribe event i go kill the tribe i guess ig et vistors from the tribe and i attak teh tribe and now it stays on the faction list as a perma hostile faction even when tis a gentle tribe

Well, it can speed up a bit that they show up again, but it should do much once they're coming regularly.

really? I tend to just invite everybody constantly because the gifts are nice, and it makes things feel more lively... Might just be a me thing, sorry bout that.

It's not really necessary to do it very often. You only need it when you want to speed up the first visits or maybe get a faction back that you've annoyed.
