Phnom Penh & Siem Reap, Cambodia – With support from the Mekong-Korea Cooperation Fund, the Mekong Institute hosted a four-day Structured Learning Visit for delegates from line ministries in five Mekong countries, aimed at strengthening regional program development and cooperation. Through presentations, field visits, and exchanges with partners like UNDP, ILO, and GIZ, participants gained valuable insights into effective project management and stakeholder collaboration to address regional challenges in sectors such as environment, infrastructure, and tourism. The Mekong Institute (MI) recently organized a "Structured Learning Visit on Regional Program Development and Management" in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, Cambodia, from October 27 to November 1, 2024. Bringing together 22 government officials from five Mekong countries, this initiative was part of the PRIME Project, supported by the Mekong-Republic of Korea Cooperation Fund (MKCF). Through workshops, site visits, and networking with international organizations like UNDP and UNIDO, participants gained insights on regional cooperation and strategies for impactful project development.
