Wedu’s Purposeful Action Agent award is given to a woman leader who embraces a profound sense of responsibility to be a force for change. ⚡ Despite working in a challenging and deeply conservative society, Natasha Kabir followed her inner voice, which encouraged her to model the courage needed to break barriers and challenge religious orthodoxy in her home country. This led to Natasha dedicating herself to protecting the rights of women and people with disabilities in Bangladesh. Since 2014, Natasha has been driving change with the Bridge Foundation in Bangladesh. Now, as a general assistant with ACCESS, she regularly engages in reflective practice and is committed to lifelong learning to provide better support for the wider South Asian community.
