🏆 Exciting News from Davos: Introducing 2X Impact Rewards! 🏆 Yesterday, Carmen Correa, Member of the Board of 2X Global and CEO of Pro Mujer, announced in Davos the introduction of 2X Impact Rewards. 2X Impact Rewards combine two powerful approaches: 2X Certification and Impact-Linked Finance. 2X Global, Roots of Impact and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) are partnering to introduce 2X Impact Rewards - a model investors can use for rewarding companies that have obtained 2X Certification with financial incentives for achieving improved gender outcomes. 💡 ICYMI: 2X Global is seeking consultants to provide technical and practical expertise to co-create and expand the 2X Certification Methodology for Financial Institutions (FIs) and for Gender Bonds. ⏰ Friday, January 17th is the first deadline, for submitting questions about the requests for proposals (RFPs) while Friday, February 7th is the deadline to submit proposals. This effort is part of the broader development of 2X Certification, a global initiative to promote gender equality and women’s leadership in financial institutions and businesses. And just like that... we've arrived at the final day of 2024. As we look to 2025, our optimism for the year ahead is fuelled by the knowledge of what we've achieved in the year gone by. Our last recap spotlights our work at the nexus of climate and gender and our ongoing community building.

2024 was a year where we took significant strides forward to shape and shift markets, build the capacity of others and advance standards. 💵 Together with a coalition of public and private sector investors, we launched the third edition of the 2X Challenge - the biggest and most ambitious one yet, with a target of US$20 billion in gender lens investments. 🚀 We wrapped up our the first Asia-Pacific cohort in the 2X Ignite GP Sprint programme and launched and conducted our second Africa cohort. 🥇 We launched 2X Certification, our independent and universally available certification programme to assess gender inclusion in investments.
