Optische Matrix im Waldviertel: Das größte Glasfasernetz Niederösterreichs entsteht! 🌐 Vorletzte Woche haben wir Ihnen bereits unser spannendes Projekt in Österreich mit unserer Optischen Matrix vorgestellt. Heute möchten wir Sie tiefer in die Details dieses Vorhabens einführen: Im Waldviertel wird aktuell ein großes kommunales Glasfasernetz mit Open Access Ansatz aufgebaut. Dieses Projekt ermöglicht es verschiedenen Internet-Service-Providern (ISPs), ihre Dienste anzubieten, während die Endverbraucher frei wählen können, welcher Anbieter zu ihnen passt. Unsere Optische Matrix spielt dabei eine entscheidende Rolle: Nach Vertragsabschluss wird die Glasfaserverbindung zum Kunden ferngesteuert und ohne Personaleinsatz vor Ort mit dem gewählten ISP verbunden. Bei einem Anbieterwechsel wird die Verbindung einfach remote neu geschaltet, was maximale Flexibilität und Effizienz gewährleistet. Jede Liegenschaft im Waldviertel erhält die Möglichkeit eines kostengünstigen Glasfaseranschlusses und kann jederzeit frei zwischen verschiedenen Providern wählen. Im Endausbau sorgen rund 14 Points of Presence (POPs) mit unserer optischen Matrix für einen flexiblen und zukunftssicheren Open Access.
