And one man from the world of wrestling is, in particular, making headlines for currently being in Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh - and it is none other than The
Great Khali.
The Great Khali visits the Maha Kumbh Mela
Devotees from around the world are coming to take a bath in the Triveni Sangam in Prayag - a confluence between the three holy rivers - Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. This sacred point of confluence has come to be of religious importance and it looks like wrestling legend The Great Khali also wants to become a part of this. The Indian wrestler was seen at Prayagraj, taking a dip in the waters of the Sangam, surrounded by people.
He took to his Instagram account to share a couple of videos of him at the Kumbh Mela, and it looks like he is enjoying his time there. The
Kumbh Mela takes place every 12 years, but this year's Maha Kumbh is termed special because of specific astrological alignments of the Sun, the Moon, and the planet Jupiter. It marks the completion of a 12-Kumbh Mela cycle and is being called the Maha Kumbh Mela, which will be celebrated for 45 days.
The Great Khali shares his time at the Maha Kumbh
The
WWE Hall of Famer has been at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh - where the grand event has been taking place for the last two days. Khali has shared quite a few clips of himself, enjoying the serenity of this religious celebration alongside other devotees. And fans are enjoying getting to see him in this element.
In the shared videos, fans were seen bidding farewell to the wrestling legend, while he sits inside a car. Looks like Khali's Prayagraj tour is coming to an end. But as for his adventures, there's definitely a lot more to come.
