Last week in Brussels, we were honoured to participate in the EU-UA Partnership Summit, hosted by European Ukrainian Bridge (EUB) | Europäisch Ukrainische Brücke (EUB), U-Nation, and Metadidomi Foundation. The event brought together NGOs, businesses, innovators, and government leaders worldwide to support Ukraine during this challenging time. A much-needed meeting, we must say. The summit occurred at the Ukrainian House, in front of the EU Parliament. Among the key highlights were social support for Ukraine, programs for financing the projects, and facilitating on Ukrainian businesses' access to the EU market. Very important call of proposals for private equity investments into Ukrainian entrepreneurs and SMEs. Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) is encouraging all IFIs and EU DFIs to apply and then to invest in 25 PE&VC funds that currently raising and into 300M Ukrainian fund of funds. Last week, our association had the pleasure of visiting Tech Tour Deeptech & Defence 2024, a long-standing platform for connecting innovators with leading investors in Tallinn, Estonia. The event brought together an impressive array of companies from across Europe, including high-profile guests like Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia Kristen Michal. We were curious to see the pitches from startups from such rare industries. Among the technologies presented were proprietary AI computing solutions, fibre optic sensing, ultra-low power processors for sensors, UAVs, modern 3D printing platforms, and even closed-loop water reuse systems. Thanks a lot to William Stevens, Mashrukh Talukder and the team for a great event 🙂

We are excited to announce the start of the selection process for Ukrainian startups who want to participate in the Consumer Electronics Show 2025! 🤩 CES is one of the most influential technology events in the world, defining the innovative trends of the future. It takes place from 7 to 10 January in Las Vegas, USA. Our association has traditionally organised — or helped to organise — the Ukrainian delegation since 2017, and next year will be no exception. We even have found the photos from the very first pitch and trip 🙂 Up to 10 startups and companies will have a chance to showcase their products in the CES expo zone and participate in the delegation's side events.
