"Balancing Creativity and Corporate Guidelines in Workplace Design" How do you stay creative when working within strict design guidelines? It’s a challenge every designer faces, pushing boundaries while staying within the rules. With Huawei’s office in Ivory Coast, the goal was to follow Huwaei's corporate standards while making sure the space felt connected to its surroundings. 4SPACE design was challenged to bring in warmth, identity, and culture without losing the structure and efficiency a corporate office needs, seamlessly blending innovation, functionality, and aesthetics. Instead of following a rigid template, we looked to the local landscape and architecture for inspiration. The materials, textures, and colors reflect the essence of #IvoryCoast blending naturally into a modern work environment. The result is a space that’s professional but not cold, structured but not rigid. Natural light, greenery, and flexible layouts bring energy to the space, while the breakout areas encourage a more social and engaging way of working. It’s not just about desks and meeting rooms, it’s about creating a #workplace that supports both focus and collaboration. Every project is a chance to push things forward. This one was about finding the right balance between corporate identity and cultural influence, making sure the design feels natural, not forced.
