Spanish furniture brand, ACTIU is bridging corporate furniture and fashion through a noble ‘Second Act.’ The brand is repurposing remnant fabric from their factories in partnership with fashion design students at Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation. These impressionable minds are not only learning about sustainability first hand, but also harnessing their unalloyed creativity to produce garments that lightly scrap the boundaries between design disciplines. He is the founder of MODU Method, a contemporary furniture brand that emphasizes accessible, functional, and sustainable design. His work often integrates storytelling and problem-solving, drawing inspiration from his Arab roots. If you don’t know his name, you might have seen his work online. Remember a wooden cactus moonlighting as a clothes hanger? That was Omar’s first product. AstraZeneca Office, Dubai Located in Dubai Science Parks South Tower, the AstraZeneca office is the brainchild of the INC UAE design team, a group of passionate visionaries who took up the challenge of completing the project within an impressive 6 months. The design phase took 3 months and an additional 3 months for the build.
