Yesterday was #WorldMentalHealthDay, one of the most important days in the calendar. This year’s focus is around mental health support and understanding in the workplace. In a society that is focussed on “always being on”, it can be easy to neglect our mental health both personally and at work. That's why, over the past year, we have taken significant steps to foster a healthier, more balanced work environment, alongside the strong foundations we already have in place. Laura Bardon shares them below 👇 💚 First thought not an afterthought 🧠 Although #WMHD highlights the vital importance of raising awareness and removing the stigma surrounding mental health issues, 7C3’s commitment to mental wellbeing is ongoing. We are proud of the work we do to ensure our team feel supported, especially through our dedicated mental health team, with two mental health first aiders and several mental health champions. 💚 Comprehensive mental wellbeing tools 🧠 We have a variety of benefits that cover mental wellbeing including counselling and employee assistance through our partner YuLife, external CBT sessions with a known provider, and Vitality medical insurance. 💚 Focus for the everyday, and not just today 🧠 We are committed to fostering a culture of openness around mental health. Yesterday, we held a Tea & Talk in our office to ignite conversation around mental health and what it means to us.
