Bluejay Mining announces an update on its Disko-Nuussuaq #Nickel-#Copper-#Cobalt-#PGE-#Gold project Joint Venture with KoBold Metals, where following extensive data analysis and interpretation leveraging #AI and #ML platforms, seven priority targets have been identified. These targets exhibit characteristics indicative of potential deposits on a scale comparable to renowned mining operations such as Norilsk, Voisey's Bay, or Jinchuan. To de-risk drilling, these targets will undergo electromagnetic surveying to further refine and prioritise. Planning for 2025 activities is expected in late 2024 and committed to advancing Disko-Nuusuaq in partnership with KoBold Metals. Additionally, a new Mineral Exploration Licence covering 112km2 has been strategically obtained, increasing the total licence area to 3,015km2. Bluejay announces that it is reinstating the 2019 MRE at the Dundas Ilmenite Project following an in depth assessment of deficiencies in the 2022 work programmes, including the use of unsuitable drilling methods and questions on accuracy. Key concerns & observations of the 2022 work streams are: choice of drill rig, variability in sample types, challenges with diamond drilling, short drill runs, Geoprobe limitations, exclusion of fluvial zones, rejection of pre-2022 exploration data, and neglect of oversight. https://lnkd.in/ez9NzbQx #JAY

Bluejay announces a successful raise of £1.2 million, with a £150,000 contribution from the Board of Directors. These funds, along with changes in leadership, will allow Bluejay to restore faith and focus to the Company’s assets. Bluejay has completed a strategic review of existing operations, implemented cost reductions across the entire organisation and has renewed focus on the Disko-Nuussuaq project in Greenland. We are working to agree value enhancing work programmes for 2024 with KoBold Metals. The funds will also allow Bluejay to reinvigorate momentum on our portfolio of high-quality projects, as we evaluate various opportunities at hand to enhance shareholder value from within our broader portfolio and to create short-term value for shareholders. Bluejay is pleased to see Metals One plc (#MET1) complete its drilling programme at the Black Schist Project in Finland, which indicates potential intersections of Talvivaara-style Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-Zinc mineralistion. Metals One expects to receive assay results in early 2024, along with structural interpretations and a detailed work programme to materially increase the Project’s existing resource. This new drill information underpins Metals One’s vision of establishing a highly efficient nickel and battery metals operation in Europe. Bluejay divested the Black Schist Project to Metals One in August 2023 and currently owns c.29% of the issued ordinary share capital. This week the European Commission signed an agreement with the Government of Greenland for a strategic partnership to develop sustainable raw materials value chains. This will develop a strong collaboration across various essential sectors between the EU and Greenland in the following areas: 🔵 Economic and industrial integration of value chains, 🔵 Ensuring high international ESG standards, 🔵 Deployment of infrastructure required for the development of raw material value chains, 🔵 Strengthening of capabilities and skills development along raw materials value chains, and 🔵 Cooperation on research and innovation. Bluejay welcomes this important development and the positive effects this will have on Greenland, the exploration and development of a mineral resources sector in Greenland and the security of supply of raw materials for Europe. Our CEO, Bo Stensgaard, presented at a recent Stakeholder Consultation Meeting “European Union – Greenland Strategic Partnership on sustainable raw materials value chains”.
