As an important participant in Scotland's 'national sport' Aberdeen Football Club recognises its high profile and influential position nationally, and especially within Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland. Community activities have been historically delivered by a department based within the club. In March 2014, Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT) was established as the official partner charity of AFC, "To provide support and opportunity to change lives for the better". AFCCT is as registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), Scottish Charity No. SC044720.

💼 Bring a child to work day! AFCCT joined STEM partner, Fugro, for their bring a child to work day by providing some exciting activities. Our team showcased a STEM session which allowed the kids to get involved with robots, coding and basic engineering; a programme which we deliver in local primary schools. #AFCCT10

We’re pleased to announce that Prince William: We Can End Homelessness will be available to stream on Disney Plus. The two-part documentary follows the first year of #Homewards- a five-year programme founded by The Prince and The Royal Foundation which aims to demonstrate that it is possible to end homelessness. Airing in the UK on ITV and ITVX on the 30th and 31st of October at 9pm, the documentary will also now be available to stream globally from the 1st of November on #DisneyPlus. Homewards Advocate, Dr Sabrina Cohen-Hatton, recently spoke to Good Morning America to give a preview of the documentary and why she wanted to be a part of Homewards.
