Congratulations to our remarkable INVENT 2024 Finalists and winners, who've embarked on an incredible journey through the INVENT Programme! 👏👏👏 INVENT Awards category winners on the night were: • Living Well – CyberSyd (Sponsor: Riviera Partners) • Creative Leisure – KIJN • Future Business – Equipple (Sponsor: Invest Northern Ireland) • BioBreakthroughs – Dia Beta Labs Ltd Ryan Lafferty • Green Horizons – e-Breathe (Sponsor: SSE Airtricity) • Unchartered Ideas – TalkTerms (Sponsor: Go Succeed NI) Twelve finalists had one minute each at the awards night to pitch for a chance at a £1,000 audience-voted prize. The top pitch, securing the £1,000 prize, was awarded to MediPacks Ltd. Sponsor: Harbinson Mulholland Chartered Accountants. The Inclusive Innovation Award, supported by Bank of Ireland, was presented to Galvani TECH. The overall Student Invent winner was Vibrotect, who are developing a wristband that tracks vibration exposure and warns users when they approach safe daily limits, helping prevent Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS). So happy to have won the Catalyst for change award last night at #Invent24. This award means so much to me as it’s about giving back, which I believe it’s our duty to do and give people the best chance they can at life! Big thanks to Jennifer Neff for nominated me, to Danny Glenn from U Turn Firness for speaking about me on video and well done to the other finalists too. No better two people to share the shortlisting with Adrienne Hanna Eddie McGoldrick. I love working with the Catalyst team (particularly Adam Bradley from Role Models) - they help so many amazing start ups, scale up etc and it’s amazing to be part of some of their journeys

A big congratulations to the team at the Canadian Institute for Social Prescribing for organizing such an inspiring, inaugural Social Prescribing conference. The conference itself felt like a Social Prescription as we had the opportunity to be immersed in art and culture, while we learned about how Social Prescribing is being used worldwide as a tool for health equity, building resilient communities and supporting individuals’ mental and physical health. So great to hear about the newly released KPMG report that highlights: "Every dollar invested in social prescribing programs may return $4.43 to society through improved wellbeing and reduced costs on the health system."
