We're delighted to have helped fund the planting of 5,900 trees for OVO. The trees were allocated to 46 community groups located across Great Britain via The Conservation Volunteers. Well done to all involved! #iDigTrees #impact #sustainability #AchieveMore

Last week, the Future of Media conference gathered over 700 senior and future leaders to discuss best practices, changing business models, and growth opportunities. Cameron Swan, Michelle Sarpong, and Lorraine Jennings-Creed discussed the evolving role of managers and the mental wellness skills gap. NABS All Ears research found that many early career managers are overwhelmed and often unprepared for their responsibilities despite being the go-to for mental wellness issues. The newly launched NABS' Mindsets for Managers program aims to educate and empower managers to build resilient and healthy teams. Thanks to Adwanted Events for giving space to this important initiative. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eHzjYQm6 #FOML #wellbeing #AchieveMore

What a team! Yesterday, a big group of Activians ran the Royal Parks Half - London and smashed their fundraising goal. From a £7k target for Muscular Dystrophy UK, we are nearly at £23k. AMAZING. 🙌 Starting and finishing in Hyde Park, our gang raced through central London and four Royal Parks, with Nick Draper crossing the finish line first, followed by Mark Zagger. 🏃🏃♀️ Thanks to every Adland colleague, friend, and family member who supported us with donations, plus our gratitude to those who came down in person to cheer us on. A special shout-out to Laura Learmouth for keeping up the team’s energy, everyone’s favourite personal cheerleader! 📢 Cameron Swan commented, “It was a privilege to run for a charity that has helped Dean’s family and many others.” Dean Wilson said, “I couldn’t be prouder or more grateful to my colleagues. What a great afternoon with everyone afterward, too.” If you’d still like to donate, our JustGiving link is here. https://lnkd.in/eXbPsRpc Go Team Active! 👏👏👏 Dean Wilson Cameron Swan Nick Draper Romy Moore Chloe Reader Mark Zagger Georgia Myers Neesha Coelho Lana Ilchenko James Locke Maryam Mahmood Dhruti Halai Amy Bartlett Annie Jarvis Pauline Bernfeld Jane Putley Caren Nicholls Sophie Prankard #MusclesMatter #AchieveMore

It's #WorldMentalHealthDay 🌍 Mental health is now people's biggest health concern globally but support can be life-changing. Simple tips on how to prioritise self-care, to talk, and listen are so important. 🧠 Thanks to two of our Mental Health First Aiders, Perry Brown and Wasim Choudhury, for training this week. 🧠 Thanks to Lorraine Jennings-Creed and Michelle Sarpong for sharing their expertise with Cameron Swan at Future Of Media London yesterday. They discussed the pressure facing today's young media leaders and how NABS supports ad talent with well-being. 🧠 Thanks to our Mental Health ERG for organising a virtual session with Danielle DeZao on self-care and stress management for our global teams. If you need to talk this World Mental Health Day, contact NABS, Mind or Samaritans. #LifeAtActive #AchieveMore

This ace team, plus others not pictured here, is running the Royal Parks Half - London on Sunday, 13th October. We are raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK; a cause very close to our hearts. Thank you for your donations, we've smashed our £7k target!👏 We are just £1k shy of £10k, can we hit it? There's still time to donate if you'd like to support us. Good luck, gang, and fingers crossed for clear skies! 🏃♀️🏃 JustGiving page here: https://lnkd.in/eJasjRFM #MusclesMatter #AchieveMore

Having conversations about mental wellness isn’t always easy or comfortable. NABS' Mindsets for Managers programme educates future leaders about when someone might need support and empowers them to build resilient, healthy teams. Tomorrow, Cameron Swan will take the stage at the sold-out Future of Media London at Kings Place with Michelle Sarpong and Lorraine Jennings-Creed in a session entitled 'Making Future-ready Leaders', exploring how modern managers can plug the mental wellness gap. Keep your eyes on Adwanted Events for updates! #FOM #wellbeing #AchieveMore

Thousands of children grow up in homes with few books, sometimes none at all. We were delighted to support the Children's Book Project, initiated by MAPP, our building’s management company. Well done to our lovely pals also at 70 New Oxford Street; Teads and Matrix, for also supporting this and to Lisa Lyte and Alexandra Beeden for organising us. Together, we have put books into the hands of the children who need them most. Follow Children's Book Project to start your own book drive! #literacy #BooksForAll #AchieveMore

WHAT A DAY! On Wednesday we hosted our biggest ever Manchester Fashion Show at a gorgeous new location, the Audacious Church, with 420 adlanders attending and entertainment from the incredible Girls That Mix and fantastic Samba band Katumba. Your generosity helped us to raise an amazing £28,000. The event was proudly sponsored by our retail partner River Island, who collaborated with the charity Models of Diversity to run a competition for aspiring models, giving them the chance to feature in the NABS Fashion Show. Thank you to our sponsors Channel Factory, GroupM, Active International UK , Captify® and Spotify Advertising, whose generosity made this event possible, and to Mail Metro Media, who sponsored our handbag raffle. Thanks also to Juniper 1933, who provided drinks from their vintage vans and generously donated 15% of their proceeds to NABS. You can find photos from the event here- https://lnkd.in/e5R4WJH4 We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!

Last week our team attended the launch of The Future of Media Manchester, which brought the most significant discussions in commercial media to the city at Royal Northern College of Music. Well done to the Adwanted Events team for celebrating the abundant market opportunities in the north. Top themes included programmatic, the TV and CTV landscape, and modernising brand-building strategy.👏 We look forward to the Future of Media in London next week, where Cameron Swan will moderate 'Making Future-ready Leaders' with NABS. #FOMM #AchieveMore Great job Steven Scaffardi Omar Oakes Sam Tidmarsh Kat Hendry Lydia Casey

We have entered a fantastic team in the Royal Parks Half - London on 13th October to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK. This charity is dear to our hearts; MDUK has provided invaluable support to more than one family within the business. They connect a community of over 110,000 people living with one of 60 muscle-wasting and weakening conditions. Join us in fundraising and improving the lives of everyone affected by donating below.
