Another trophy for our (extremely crowded) trophy cabinet! Have you always wanted to take a 3D x-ray image of your Aerospace Technology Institute award but CT scanners are too expensive and too difficult to use? Finally you can with our wonderful AdaptixNDT 3D system a dataset only takes 2 clicks and less than a minute. Measuring distances on your results is also extremely easy with our GUI (nothing better than M6 screws in your trophy base, you need that strong grip). If you want to learn more about our technology head to booth F134 at Advanced Engineering UK or go listen to Martin Holden CEng talk.

Brand new extended content available for download: Reducing misdiagnosis with right imaging, right place, right time. Author: Dr Sian Philips - Adaptix Ltd As resource pressures continue in emergency departments across the country, patients with relatively minor injuries are increasingly redirected to minor injuries units or triaged by specialist nursing teams with the power to request and review imaging services. While this has real benefits in terms of reducing waiting times and focusing emergency resources on the most seriously ill or injured patients, the number of ‘missed fracture’ claims facing the NHS has increased notably over recent years, costing the health service over £1.1million between 2015 and 2018 (NHS Resolution Report, 2022). https://lnkd.in/etcUkxfT #RADMagazine #medicalimaging #news #healthcare #medical #radiology

Great Patient and Public Involvement Event around the beautiful Isles of Scilly to gather feedback from patients and health workers about whether in future an Adaptix mobile 3D X-ray system could give better limb imaging and better availability by supplementing the current 1 day a week 2D X-ray. The reception by people was very warm. The weather was more mixed...
